OOeerr .. Chuck badly reverses the grav spilling bodies from the rear doors an parks it by just cutting the engines thirty metres away... nosediving the grav with a nasty klunking sound from the rotors...
hopefully any airstrikes shall be on target given the technology they can employ...

a very short time later two streaks head towards the grav at the hydro site and around a dozen streak into the naval base - there is a roar and a booom as the flight sonics reach you - then the explosions detonate causing you to duck WHAMMM
good grief the airstrike was there before you realised it....
those little misssiles could not have blown the hydro dam ... ATG missiles designed to cripple vehicles - hotheads following the IR sig from the grav

Gilie was going for cuffs and a odd sound; sounds like a jet engine..huh, they must be...[/color]
BOOM!
Four-eyes ducked down, lookin' at the door, seeing a GRAV blowing up "SHIT!!!! Chuck!"
Goddammit..He hoped the Troll got out in time..he wasn't in the moot to lost someone in the team just now..

Theres enough of you now around the control centre to cover the two smoking pits which erupt close to the grav in plumes of water and a massive shocklwave impact to the surrounding area -
The explosions were pretty small in military terms- but the impact it has on you all sends you flying away from the impacts hands over ears... this is military hardware on a close contact
Jeeze that was close... states Chuck rising from the reedbeds
F-E looks around frantically for the trooper who is no longer in sight - fragger must have used the explosion to scarper... basta..
You pick up his moans realquick once you reactivate your hearing..mm nnn down the further side of th building.. the guy had not taken cover and had been blown down alongside the crete housing
You realise how lucky you have been when eight kilo of explosive has detonated nearby and stunned the buggery out of you - keeping your heads down saved you a lot of unexpected flight problems....

Four-Eyes shook his head..Damn..Chuck..He ajusted his hearing amp..damn sneaky trooper..the hell he went now?
He scanned the room wiht his flashlight, he can hear him moaning..then he zeroed in on ihm; It seems the blast send him flying. "Goddman...don't they teach you how to duck or somethin'?"
He checked the man's wounds, he seemed ok, if only a gunshot wound and his head was spinning..

As the blinded trooper finished releasing another burst from his weapon Bishop rose, his rifle shouldered, and opened up with his own weapon, sending three rounds towards the trooper - two for the torso, one for the head.
Rifles + 3 combat pool - known modifiers: + 3 (recoil) - 3 (gas vent IV) -2 (smartlink) +4 (minimal light with low light vision)

Lowering his body, Bishop slung his rifle over his shoulder and slid his Predator from the Viper covert holster nested under his arm. Sliding a long silencer from a loop on the holster, he hastily twisted the silencer onto the barrel of the pistol.
He had almost finished the clean-up, but first he needed to take care of the trooper on his heels. Suspecting that his enemy would zero in on his last muzzle report, he moved cautiously to flank.
Miraculously, he had managed to survive the encounter thus far. But the situation was precarious and he had no way of securing the troopers that had surrendered nor any way to secure the area against any reinforcements. If the enemy were to regroup and start acting like a disciplined unit the encounter would be over for Bishop very quickly.
He considered calling for his own reinforcements, hoping that his team would arrive before any backup provided by the attackers. But the troopers were still tapping into the team's communications and the possibility for his team mates to walk into an ambush was too great.
Bishop did the calculations in milliseconds. No backup; no way to secure the situation. Every single one of the troopers would have to die.
Bishop moved forward, gripping his pistol close to him...[rand=095990770956217110311899115277847201830399886951517023597562414121476]

The air strike was something indeed. I've seen plenty before and a lot bigger then this. I manifested outside FE's spell range. "Need anything?" My astral form looked like me but I was wearing a large black hooded robe. Taz joked I looked like the grim reapers son. I looked around. The place was mess but they seemed to have it under control.

A familiar voice came from behind him; Shade was standing at the door frame dressed in a hood..weirdo..
"Yeah, someone need to disarm those 3 charges that I set-up in the toilet block, so go there and tell me when you'll be there, I'll instruct you from here."
Keeping his Deputy on the trooper, Four-Eyes applied a low rating stim patch the the man; it won't help his wound but at least he'll be less stunned. Few few nudge of the foot made him a little more receptive to his environment "C'mon, all your GRAVs just got blow to shit, out with some answers!"

I vanished and zipped back to my body. It took only a instant. I took a moment to stretch and headed for the toilet block. It was brisk jog. It took me a moment to locate the bomb. "Oh hell no." <C>"I hope your walking me though this FE. Because If I die I am going to haunt you forever." I looked at the bomb like a turd in a punch bowl. I'm not getting paid enough for this.

((Oh ok, I thought you were looking 'normal' just floating an inch form the ground, you know, for mysticism.))
Using Gilie's cuffs, he secured the trooper, and asked the cop to check on the 3 other, for anyone alive. He treated the man a little for his injury, at least stopping the blood loss, when Shade came on the comm.
"Haunt me huh?, oh wow, I'm so scared..anyways, pay attention to what I'm saying and don't fuck it up, you're the one handling the damn thing so you blow up, your fault. now here's what you gotta do.."
((Dunno if a dice roll's required for that one Wolf,..got demo/improv explosives at 4/6 and 2 Kn points in demolitions/explosvies...yet again I think it's Shade that's got to default to demolitions.))

Henri's head snaps round toward the sound of Bishop's demand for surrender and the report from his rifle. Henri couldn't see where the Brit was hiding, but the noises gave him an idea of which direction to look in. He draws his pistol, ready to provide his fellow runner with support if necessary and belly crawls toward the sounds.

After crawling for several meters through the chilly waters of the reed bed, Henri spots Bishop advancing on the troopers, silenced pistol in hand. He refrains from calling out to Bishop, as that kind of distraction coupled with an opportunistic bad guy could spell disaster. Instead Henri stays low & in cover and waits for Bishop to challenge his presence verbally.[rand=5909413572969182971416454166043442639920787213045711527951526071]

Micro keeps his eyes perceiving astral and keeps checking the skies to make sure the mage they had run away doesn't decide to make a return trip. With his head down Micro hears the call for surrender and the bomb disarming talk four Eyes is giving Shade. Wait that means no one is in astral now. Ok I guess the job is mine. Micro thinks, as he quickly gets back where Meg and the students are since he was there to start. Keep an eye on my body I'm going astral, might not be needed but you never know. Micro dislodges his astral body and zips up into the sky and begins a search of the area. (where everyone is, teammates and enemies.)
