Over at Bishop's place the mist of hotsmoke can be seen filtering above the reedbed tops - the smoke isnt solid cloud - but enough to obscure standard and thermal sight - Henri will be able to pick out a couple of .... troopers hugging the ground and shaking their heads - or dragging a comrade into a ditch - no sign of Bishop. There is the occasional burst of sprayfire from their side of the road towards you sort of.. hopeful fire
Even with astral the smoke provides cover so that general area is tough to pinpoint anything - let alone if they are trying to conceal themselves. Taking a high astral overview there are a few of them starting to stagger back towards the naval site - and a grav noses into sight from the front gate checkpoint.. Chuck seems to have heisted an hotwired one ! - you hope it is Chuck..

"Sh*t." All the action was about to be at the dam. I had to get there fast and car wasn't fast enough. I wasn't going to leave my body in the wind. I headed back for the cabin. I pulled out my flashlight. Just got see a small hunk of dirt and I am good. It took a moment to get it moved back so I could get in. I picked the closest bed and got comfy. Projecting takes little effort when your used to it. The cabin gave me some cover. I headed off to the dam and I didn't spare a moment to get there. Once there I looked for Four eyes in the fastest manner I could. He was supposed to go to the control room. All I needed to track him down was; be someplace he'd been.

Bear in mind the reports you have recieved so far
think of the area as a T the hydro on the top right the naval top left and the campsite bottom foot.. hence escape further down is good
Bishop was covering the intersection and he is being quiet - Chuck announces he is now the wheel man of a grav - and F-E has just let a grenade rip at the control room at the hydro...
Micro an Henri both check in from their meat to give a brief report
the skies are clear of astral - though aircraft arriving in a couple of minutes will be very fast or are they slower more manouverable copters.. with ground attack pods?
F-E stumbles backwards exchanging machett for illuminator lighting up his adversary as he rolls close... then punching a shot into him..
The trooper takes the slug - no more manouver left - the kev an plas plates absorb a chunk an the guy staggers in his jump-up but he's still there..
Bishop watches the group move out of close range - drops another two shooters with a short controlled 'three burst' then re-checks the escaping six, counting only five through the silky smoke cover. Somewhere nearby on Bishop's side of the reedbeds was a watery commotion not so much a splash, rather, a body meeting liquid.. rats? had to be a big one - with an H&K...

((Hopefully Shade thought of going in to watch the situation with Four-Eyes...now to hope my gimmic with the move and flashlight actually brought some good results..oh it did..didn't saw the last part of your post.))
The AP rounds lands on it's mark, and the trooper seems hurt, but he's not down.
"DROP YOUR WEAPON! SURRENDER OR I'LL KEEP UP PUMPIN' YOU FULL O' LEAD!"
Four-Eyes kept his gun aimed at the trooper; if he tried anything instead of dropping his gun, he was going to get shot again..

awww..
there are not many who will continue fighting when their backup and close compatriots have been ambushed blown up shot and you are the last one - facing a faster opponent waving a heavy pistol in your face - (unless you are a loonie or a who-gives-a-damn-shadowrunnuuugh.. ah you mean a loonie!) so he drops his H&K reasonably close (just in case) and kneels then links his hands behind his head. Well he would, but your shot has impaired his arm which is painfull - he winces..
shocked eh F-E ! now you have his full attention you can ask him lots of questions .. I wonder what his resistance is... or is he just bluffing with the pain....

Four-Eyes grinned; for once it worked. He glanced wiht his light at the 3 other trooper making sure they didn't try to shoot him in the back; when all seemed clear he returned his light to the trooper.
They looked like a military outfit; or at least acted like one. "All right, let's start easy; Name, rank, organisation, reason for being here.."

Finding FE wasn't hard. I just followed the sound of gun fire. I kept a distance away. If they did anything I would distract them by manifesting and screaming racist remarks and passing thought them. That would make their skin crawl.

Lucille announces to Meg as they sedately flee.. so as to not alarm the students - the sedate fleeing bit.. If we dont get out of here Megan It has been er kinda interesting workin wit ya.. never a dull moment - you got a knack for bein in the wrong place at the right time - like we're doin now fleein from a company of yahoo armour in the middle of the nite an you tellin the kids to watch the inland surf.. bizzarre I spoze a platoon of Knight Errant would scare most of the interesting things away which is why you like runners - these guys aint mercs - its not like youre payin them over the odds, Remember the deckker last month well he was the one that probably kept everyone's interest an split the profits of a datasnatch somethin to do wit the Renraku programmer who was murdered by the Wendigo - paid for my bus upgrade.. I think you gotta shell out a little more otherwise youre goin to lose them.. [/green]
Lucille bit her lip waiting for some kind of eruption which never came..
You rite Lucille they're keepin a lot off our backs - theres a couple of month now where the field trips will be few but the protection will still need to be high - most have put their all into it an deserve sumtin special... R an R - an you too.
From the reports the teams are doin well - once the cavalry arrive then we can slide back into the quiet.. well kinda quiet..
Lucille knew Meg was holding back - if they had done so well why not gather in the glory and whatever came with that.. or was there a lot more to this teaching students venture than was apparant?

Bishop's victory at seeing the troopers retreating was short lived, as some of the remaining troopers who had not been downed by the flashbangs started to come to and rally themselves.
Something disturbed the water nearby - a trooper? A comatose body? A fellow runner?
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
Bishop took a mental count of his remaining bullets, switching to his sidearm if necessary, as he started to move slowly and deliberately away from the disturbance as quietly as he could - if the troopers had zeroed in on him it was a good idea to relocate to a new firing position, perhaps outflanking his would-be ambushers.
As he moved he thumbed his comm-button, mumbling into his throat-mic subvocally:
"Hostile troopers, adopt a kneeling position with your hands visible and in the air or we will be forced to open fire. We will shoot to kill, as I'm sure you've noticed."

Bishop broadcasts to the troopers to surrender while moving away from the main disturbance.. er ambush. Bishop can easily manouver as he has chosen a primo place to start with.. you would have to broadcast - by shouting/ordering/intimidating these staggering incoherant miscreants...
your bark of an order gets a response.. two go down hands behind their necks - one remains staggering and releases another full burst...... ...... ..... .... leaves one guy crouching then changing position firing a full mag - repeating stance position firing .. you guess he is blinded...
If you wish to move away you will go yourside of the smoke (away from them towards the hydro station)
if you wish to maintain surveillance on them all including the runaways and rats - you have to go towards their side of the smoke (towards the naval bas and sanddunes)
if you wish to bugger off back and protect the camp - no problem! (safety in numbers get back down the campsite trail)
harsh choices!
You know you are pretty damn quiet - you have got into the swim of the place.. paddyfield recon familiarity so any encounter ought to be on your terms.... ought to be... five retiring one blinded one recently unaccounted for gotta be closeish... rest are out crying or neutered.. (hopefully neutralised instead!)

Chuck pulls the GRAV up to the Dam sideways on the road and shuts it down. Pops the hatch and looks around with a big drek eating grin on his face. Hey F-E do you know if any of the other can spin up the waepons and drive this thing?
Chuck waits a tick or two for an answer then hulls his hoop back to his unconsious or dead passangers. Checks out there bonds then starts to remove them from the GRAV. Shouting over to F-E Hey did you rescure the cops in there? If ya did do you think you could ask them if the got a holding cell for these clowns I brought with me?
After setting them down by the GRAV closest to the control room Chuck goes through thier pockets and pats them down for any and all weapons, Cred and identification. Then closes the hatches in the GRAV except the on hee has the prisoners by. Don't want one of them doing what he did.

Chuck has merrily driven the grav from the naval base - through the escaping troopers, the hotsmoke and the injured troopers, past a well concealed Bishop - who can take the opportunity to adjust position to wherever he would like to get to...
the grin behind the facemask drops to a stunned shock when a troll opens the rear doors of the grav and the bodies get heaved out into the ditch...
Chuck Vrooms to a halt with a cheesy grin - unloads the slugged passengers and locks the grav rear trooperdoors if there is to be an airstrike on the grav then any of the origional occupants will all be safetly thrown into a nearby ditch. Holding cells.. they will be lucky to wake up by tomorrow...
The noise of the grav emboldens the trooper officer who begins his sweep back towards the hydro dam... he was going to sit still for twenty mins then counter-ambush any mop-up operation The grav heads for the hydro dam - excellent ! - the place will be secured in no time - he checked the silencer on his H&K then loosened the bayonette at his side... someone was going to suffer...
9 - 10 mins hmm that is a stroll back to the campsite - though you could provide information over the comms to a novice.. anyone close to the toilet block who is willing to volunteer?
