Bishop rejoined the rest of the group once the heat had died down, presenting himself Four-Eyes for a debrief and avoiding military questioning as well as he could - he was a wanted man, and he didn't want his old friends to find him before he found them.
He was crashing from the massive adrenaline dump - his body was cold from the water and starting to shake uncontrollably. He took deep, slow breaths and allowed himself to submit to the perfectly natural after-effects of the adrenal stress; it was all part of the routine.
"Damn Bishop, you mean business when you do mean business!"
"Indeed." He said blankly, barely even aware of the statement to which he replied...
----------------------
"Damn, Church - these guys really mean business." Grey said as he stood over the corpse of a man in his mid-thirties. The cause of death was obvious, the head twisted at an awkward and unnatural angle.
Church looked down the alley and out onto the street to see whether anyone had stopped and took notice of the scuffle.
"Who was he?" Grey asked, uncomfortable with the sudden silence.
"My cover has been compromised." He said coolly as he rifled through the man's pockets. No identification, no pocsec. Everything from the way the man had fought to his clothing to his clean modus operandi screamed operative.
* * *
He'd first seen the man when he met with Grey, his contact in Krass' office, a half hour earlier at a local coffee house. The hairs on the back of Church’s neck had been stood on end even before the meet, and the man sat in the corner wearing offensively white trousers and sipping slowly at his chai latte was doing everything to raise Bishop's suspicions short of cutting two eye holes in a newspaper.
"Let's go for a walk." He had said to Grey, standing abruptly and without explanation, leaving his coffee half finished on the table. Grey had cooperated with only feeble protest, having learned from the start of the operation that Church’s paranoia was non-negotiable.
At a brisk pace Church led Grey, with White Trousers following behind, to a densely populated high street. Checking that White Trousers was still following behind, Church sent Grey on ahead and ducked into a small alley way next to a restaurant, where he lay in wait.
White Trousers had put up quite a fight, despite Church having the element of surprise, but the struggle had been short and brutal and ended with White Trousers collapsing to the floor, his neck broken.
* * *
From one of the man’s pockets, Church produced a small metallic tube with a wire attached to one end. On the other end of the wire was an ear bud.
“What the frag is that?”
"It’s a laser microphone.” Church replied matter-of-factly. “I think it's time for my team and I to leave, Grey...”

MILITARY DEALINGS
Micro does his best to keep his head down with dealing with the military. I don't have to worry about being on a wanted list but I think it would be better for me to stay out of the report as best as I can, I never know who will be reading the thing. Micro thinks as he does his best to stay out of the line of fire of questioning but if they do catch up with him he will give the details of what he saw, since he did servay the attack on the beach and had an astral combat with the mage and there elie he may need to add it to the report.
Odds are since I witnessed the attack on the navil base I'll have to give a report. Great I hope I can keep personal info out of the report like my name.HAHAHA ya right. Micro will tell the Millitary what he saw when the base was attacked like unit size and hardware used, when it comes time to give his name he will see if it can be out of the report since he is not sure who will read the stuff.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ MEG DEALINGS
Micro thinks for a minute who he knows that could help with security and a location for summoning circles to be located. "Well Meg when it comes to muscle the only guys I know are a street gang Princes, I don't think they are what you are looking for they could help with security if we are in there area but it will cost some Yen to do it. Micro lights up a smoke then continues "If you want a place to house some permanent summoning circles I do have a penthouse thing is I've been having trouble with the rent my job with you just barely covers it I was thinking of down grading, but if you help cover some of the monthly cost I'd be more they happy to use it for our teams summoning location. I suggest 1 permanent circle for each element at a set rating plus space left over for special summonings. Micro waits to hear what meg says about his plan if meg will help out even with 1/2 his rent he can keep the place and start getting money for other items maybe save up for something nice down the road.
Another thing a mage can do alot but if we don't have the right spell for the right job were still up &*$# creak with out a paddle. I'm going to get a spell when we hit down time, but I think it would be good for all us spell throwers to keep improving what spells we have. If you can help out with one spell formula after ever month or two that will help to keep the group on top of the game. If you want to get formulas I know someone that should be able to help there and if you buy alot he may even throw in a deal for you. Micro takes a drag from his smoke knowing he has asked for alot he also knows it will help the group. I guess if Meg sets up summoning shop in my penthouse I will hve to give her and most of the team a key atleast I still have my Squatter, just for myself there is nothing there since it is only used when I need to lay low.

Micro - you could use your initiate status to gain spells without the full yen cost and at a lower karma cost too.. through questing. Illiya could help there.
I believe that F-E wants a word with her, Meg would too.
The NAN military will want a foto-shoot in the near future 'Citizens on Patrol' or something for their PR department.. lets see the spin they put on it.. anyone not wanting their mug displayed on the trid channells please speak up and you wont get an invite to the parade day
There are a couple of meet an greets as well. Which bring up the question of security again.
Good to see there is a wide cross section of contacts

No piccies would mean no official handshake and letter of gallantry (and juich cheque..) Although you may be able to gain some information on who supplies them... Bearing in mind that posession of Military grade equipment does carry an iso-cube sentence and probable mind interrogation.. (not that runners usually live long enough to make it into thoase safe plas blocks.)
Meg has a chat with Chuck.. If you have the cash then I know a reliable doc I have worked with before who can put in enhancements - you would have to speak with him about the time and yen the different procedures would cost. Maybe some of the others could put you onto their own connections...
F-E... there is a potential recruit, one 'Harlie' who will be arriving at the main entrance to the industrial estate this evening - can someone collect her - and would you have a chat if you're not too busy..
I will give you the access to the bots - it is biometric recognition - anyone not on the payroll will need a renewal of their 'pass' after eight hours. And yes it is a good idea to have a couple of people with access though it would be only under very limited circumstances that outsiders would need to come on-site
Micro- if you are looking to summon a bigger elemental a penthouse would be a bad place - unless they like huge bonfires on the roof...

Bishop raises his hand.
"I'll go pick her up. You want me to put her through her paces too, like you did with Five? You got a dossier on her?"
OOC - Bishop will also opt out of photoshoots; they'd probably be a death sentence to him!

"I'd like to go too. If she is going to work with us i'd like to have her aura "on record": as it were." Having everyone's aura on mind was quite useful.

"I've got a car - I'll go and pick her up now. Are you ready, Shade? Just so you know, you'll be sitting in the back with the FNG once we pick her up - indulge me."

There's a set of crete waiting stations outside of the industrial estate the surrounding heavy fencing topped with rippy wire prevents most unprofessional access. In the shift change all is needed is a valid ID - so getting in is not too difficult using a stolen card - until it is called in as invalid that is. two security huts each containing two pistol toting guards speak through the mikes via plexiglass. They check the delivery schedules in and check the trucks out. This new industrial estate likes keeping security reasonably high, for a start it removes anyone who should not be there eventually. Removes the cold-callers and opportunists too. Sterilises.
Harley watches the vans and trucks quietly roll in - not many pass through at this mid- evening time though the place is geared up for a few hundred in or out within ten munutes -automated barriers do most of the work. She sizes it up - not difficult to access you could then get to where you want to be - probably lurk for an hour or two untill checked by the patrol car - in that time most B&E biz will have been conducted - teams dont like waiting around! Her opinion.. low level security - keeps out the riff-raff
After five minutes of waiting the guard announces your ride will be along - Your name is obviously on a register in one of these industrial units.. and you have access through the barrier.
A car pulls up - windows are transparant male driver - a second male hops out from the rear door opens an envelope an views the foto - double checking you both match.. Harley ?

Chuck flicks through a few screens of 'Seattle Cyber' browsing for information on costs time and availability.. cack.. most of the sites require you to punch in details before they let their marketing department do their thing they do so well to prize yen from your grasp.. well at least he was getting an idea of what was available.

I got and out checked the woman standing in front of me, I compared the photo in the envelope. "Before we go in, I'll be examining your aura. You'll feel no discomfort." Somewhere in the back of my mind I was jumping up and down. woohppe! catgirl! yayy! ... Is it my birthday? On the outside i was as professional as possible. I had no doubt she was used to seeing some kind of shock value but I've criss-crossed the globe enough times, I've seen (and killed) far more bizzar. Plus she was cute in a anime obsessed kinda way. I opened my eyes to the astral. "This will only take a moment." I deeply scanned her aura, while surprised i tried not to let it show. I was surprised to meet a changeling. She was only the third one I'd ever met. "Ok I'm done. If you'll please follow us."

Harley just raised a brow at them both, having spent the better part of the day watching the security shifts...for her, the barrier itself was a joke. With the right timing, she could easily run up and scale the rest of it....jump to one of the security huts and then be past it while it was looking the other way...maybe even time it to get on top of a delivery truck if all had gone the way she wanted...it really depended on timing all around.
When Shade tells her he's going to astrally scan her, she doesn't seem keen on it by her expression...but she just waits. If Shade thought she was a 'catgirl', he would be rather disappointed as the tail that Harley sported was not a thin furry limb but a thick bulbous piece of flesh dark as coal and more in comparison to an alligator or the more extinct dinosaurs in its size. Or if you wanted to go another route....a gargoyle. Shade would also note another surprise as well when he scanned her...her aura belied magical capability. Judging by how it seemed to be focused directly into her aura, suffusing her body and form, it likely meant she was an adept.
"Call me Tranquility....Harley is my name but my street handle is the former."
Her eyes shifted to the guard station once more...thinking 'too easy' before she moved to get in the car, pinning her tail slightly but dealing with it for the moment as she glanced to the passengers.
