"Very good, that means I can treat you safely." Bishop lied
"My second question is a little more complex: How can I find a way into the underground levels of your former hideout, past the crete in fills?"
Bishop anticipated some kind of colourful retort for his asking, but he thought it only fair to give the ganger a chance to give the information freely before he started to make things uncomfortable...

"Why are you even under the impression I'm leaving my body? When we go looking again I plan on being AIB. That's Aura in body."
((originally AIS. Ass In Seat. Also wouldn't Shade already have this data since he has the official((and non-official)) lonestar reports?))

Micro thinks to himself after he hears Shade not wanting to leave his body with the doc. Well I did think we where going to get an introduction to the guy, Well I have 2 places to lay my head right now but I still want to keep the small hideout secret for the time being. HUMM. Micro quickly runs through some alternatives. Ok Shade has a point what I think would be a better idea is at times that we do leave our bodies it may be better if one of our homes is used as a base to head out from. I'd let you stay at my place down in Tarislar, Puyallup. But if I find out that you mess up my house while you are there we may need to get a different place. Since we do have so many mages here we could set up one or two low power elementals or a watcher to inform the projector if problems arise. Also since I know a guy that is in the biker gang that runs in that area for some nuyen we may be able to get them to send some back up if that house gets attacked. Micro waits to see what Shades response is to this then he will bring up the ammo talk again to see if anyone of the guys sporting guns what to get some better ammo of course there will be a cost for the ammo and I'm not sure if Meg will pay out for the ammo or not.8

Micro thinks for a second. So who are you asking if I trust them with my wife. I trust you guys enough that I'll let you stay at my pad when you go out of body, as for the gangers I do trust if they are payed well enough they will keep their side of the deal. I am throwing out ideas we don't have to give them the heads up that we are there, if you want we can just use watchers, elementals and Silverwing to give our bodies back up. I'm totally fine with that no biggy to me. Micro waits to see what Shades opinion is on this variation of the idea. Before getting back to ammo.8

I was looking to the longer term Shade, usually any astral ought to be short-range and reasonably quick.. but you may come across a time when you get stuck or delayed for much longer than you anticipated. The van where your meat is resting may be moved along by the Star so when you return... Just so you can confirm a fallback position with your 'minder'... If you are looking for a real safe place to project from then you guys wold need to organise that -

"I don't mind using your place but then again I wouldn't mind a buffer between me and the gang either. I got some elamentals I can leave behind and a few watchers too. However before we really do anything I want summon a mac daddy."
"I didn't think people still used that term."
Shade smiled. "I'm an old timer, big deal. Also you might want to summon something a bit bigger too... or prehaps we can pull our resources and summon a end game spirit."

The ganger still bubbles blood - an indication of the cut in his lung - Gimme a stim-patch man - somethin to stop the bleedin an - cough* - an I can lead you to a place.. but I gotta be walkin dude - dont want to wind up like Billy here.. He swings his eyes over to his ex-pal Billy who is slumped with his neck in a very awkward position - the imprint of the baseball bat had quickly bruised but no more blood runs from his mouth. Gang violence swift and mean..
a short walk away the gangers who dished out the beating are calling to one of their own to get into the car.. but the dude seems intent on 'crowing' over their victory rather than making a hasty getaway.. Henri could drop the influence at any time - or could make it permanent
you wanna get into the basement? dude - we diddnt go down there - an the Star blitzed the place - you fix me an I'll get you in.. you want to get down there it's your funeral - cough* - I aint goin there - just showin you an 'in'.. yeah?

Any big summonings would be viable if we know there is something you need protecting against.. else you will be wasting your services from those elementals or becoming fatigued summoning something big.
I cant pool with you, being a shamanic - but if there is a need then I can call up a substantial natural protector - preferably out of sight as anything big will draw attention.

Meg was the type that could aggravate me just by being around. "Endgame refers to the final move, which implies it's meant for attack." Shade smiled. "Yeah, a nice big fire elemental. Creatures of the night tend to be weakest against fire.... although... maybe with a few hours of research we can figure out how to summon a sunlight elemental. It's very presence would be painful to anything that didn't like sunlight."
((Stim patches don't stop bleeding, thats a trauma patch and their meant to stabilize people as well.))

you will need a real big blaze to summon a big elemental - that in itself should attract attention of the fire department if you are doing it inside the city limits... and if it gets out of your control...
I am sure that out at Mt St Helena in the volcano pits they summon magma spirits...
A sunlight elemental..that is a novel idea.. there are a lot of solar collectors out in the desert which could prove useful... or somewhere that is not cloaked in smog outside of the city

<tht>Is she STILL talking?
"-Or I could setup a bunch flares and tie a rope to my leg so when the ritual starts the final part of the process I can pop them for the few seconds needed." Shade smiles. "That was my project for my final exam." His smile turns to a smirk. "If your ever in the trophy hall at Dunk U you can still find holo's of it."
It's slowly becoming clear that Shade's patience with Meg is wearing thin.
((FYI: The physical component only needs to be the size of a man.))

Henri keeps the influence spell in place, it hadn't had the effect he'd been looking for but the ganger did let slip the name of his crew. Perhaps if he kept on swaggaring back to the van more tidbits would fall from his mouth. Meanwhile, Henri attempts to herd the gawkers away from where Bishop is 'working', if any of them worked out what he was actually doing, the crowd might not remain so complacent.

I am trying to point out some of the practical considerations for any of the awakened here - if you are going to be projecting.. have you or the others arranged a fallback position..?
I want my team to be secure and safe in the knowledge that there are backup plans in place
She looks at his tapping finger and registers the irritation through the smirk OK what is it Shade? If there is a problem it needs resolving. You are well pissed at something.. What?
(OOC the bigger the spirit the more element you ought to require - anything over force 6 would need a sizeable source.. SR 186 indicates a man-sized heap for an earth elemental - I would suggest that would be around a F4 or 5 elemental requirement. so a F10 water elemental would need a swimming pool or small lake.. body of 10+ a big fire ellie may need a big ugy-fawkes bonfire or a housefire.. a brazier would be for a small beastie.)
The victorious ganger continues to swagger an boast of how he was able to deal with the opposition.. He seems happy to strut and brag while the rest of his crew are already looking out of the car and calling to him to 'move his stuff' Henri gets cheesed with the tirade after a while - the guy dont shut up! he doesnt let anything more useful slip an you doubt if he knows much more anyway.. Bishop continues to 'tend' the wounded one..
the crowd flow past - it isnt very busy an people avoid the bleeding victims - yet another distasteful incident on the streets - a quick looksee then move on avoiding eye contact...
