There were only two drones - Jack had downed the active one - and Chuck stamped on the one which was powering up but diddnt get the chance to get airborne because of his size 18s.
Ghouls - we need to go to Train an Shop..

Hunter and Chuck recognise that there is now little resistance left - one guy down below who has shot at the air elemental called in by Shade.. the drones clunk and splash and the two auto turrets still monitor Shade's side - but could be easily unplugged/turned off.
So just one guy left - then to get the information from the rat shaman..
The other team seemed to be doing well also - having to cope with some tricky observation pod but were nearly there..
Shade had a feeling that they were being watched but what with the spells he was maintaining and not wanting to expose too much flesh to the auto turrets he diddnt fancy having a real good look at all of the upper gratings and pipe inlets - not yet anyway

((jack would be acting on his own to go for the guy who shot him.))
<sv>"Unplug the point def. drones, Jack's got that guy." I decided to send both my watchers to the upper part of the area, I hadn't looked there yet and my experience was screaming at me this had been too easy.
In the meantime I brought my other elli's into stand by.

another four shots go off as Jack gathers in the heavier fumes from the surrounding area directing it in a wide stream at the man ripping shots into the swirling smokey air.. the fumes are swift and effective followed by a swat which knocks the guy off his feet - off the low crete pedway and lands with a quiet splash into the water. There is no flailing of limbs or choking which indicates he is dead or unconcious.
The two turrets are deactivated an you view the area to see what there is. Shade wades up to the crete dam while the others maintain a watch - just in case..
The side doors were covered in the sweep of the auto turrets - leaving you with the feeling that something could come through that was unwanted.. the sewers you know can be full of biting creatures so they needed to be covered.
Down below is a two metre long sausage with an underwater prop and guidance at the tail end - with the top split in half and folded outwards - a waterproof pod.. these guys were running a covert import -export business.. The outer Seattle Sound would be easy to navigate but the sewer system would be too difficult - unless they could guarentee a good water depth for other pods to take the gear into the city.. Keep the dam at high and you got yourself a neat controlled waterway. You may drown or flush out some of the demizens of the sewers - but hey who cares when you're making a buck?
there is a crate on the crete walkway - when opened - the gleaming greased H & K smgs twinkle in the light. Twelve plas-sealed new smgs neatly lined in two blocks of six.
The watchers poke around the area - 'nothing to report boss' ... when one of the upper gratings swings open and a small fur-clad woman nimbly scurries her way down the piping.. CHuck recognises her as the rat shaman he spoke with..

(ooc: starting on sat, i will be gone for a few days, and after that for a few weeks internet will be spotty.. therefore i am giving Crimson permission to play Hunter in my absence.. just remember D.... he has a BIG gun, and is not afraid to use it ) Looking down, hunter grins inside of his suit (im assuming that the invisible is still on). So, this is the rat shaman... looks like one too..... He holds his ground as he looks down at her waiting to see what she is going to do, but ready to defend himself if need be.

I dropped the invis spells on my way to the dam. Rather then wading the water which would chew up my endurance I simply lev'ed there. <c>"Hunter grab that guy oudda the water. I don't want him drowning." <c>"Right." Hunter grabs the guy from the water and makes sure he's breathing. I wasn't worried about Jack hurting him too much since air ell's are non-lethal by nature. With a quick look around it wasn't hard to see what they were up to. "Aw fu-" A metal grate swung open behind me and on instinct I turned around along with hunter. The rat shaman found herself staring down a barrel and finger holding crackling purple energy.
Chuck moved between everyone. "Whoa whoa stop, dat's da rat shaman we was telling you about." Shade and hunter lower their weapons. The rat shaman chuckled uneasily. "Sorry about that." A erriely silent moment goes by before Shade has his own chuckle. "No biggie. Hunter, Chuck, restrain these guys I wanna integrate them." In the meantime Shade gets on the horn. <c>"Secondary objective complete, will move for primary in a few, copy?" Chuck and hunter moved to restrain the guys and checked them out for anything useful. Shade spends a moment speaking the rat shaman attempting to figure out what she knows.
((after speaking with the rat shaman))
"I know we just pissed someone off. This kinda thing pulls in good money. Whatever trouble this is going to bring you, I hope it's worth it." Shade also takes a look at their computer(s). "Be sure to cover their eyes too guys." The rule of thumb was it's easier to spell someone who isn't awake and I would be counting on that to get info from them after digging into their computer.
I'd use my medkit to wake them and then knock them out again. I integrated them one at a time.
OOC:
Shade will go with standard questions like who their working for and whats going here and where else. Who their doing bushiness with but off the normal path he'll ask about ghouls and vampires. The idea being they might know of a few around. Along with any details he can get from them about carfax. It's pretty safe that Shade will get any info the gm wants to give. When your target can't lie and your systematic in your questions there isn't much you miss. I'm trying to move this along as fast as possible without being sloppy. Just seems like my team's been kinda idle.

(OOC Hi folks- unexpected problems arose for me so apologies for not posting - looks like there are summer holidays coming up for people too. So although things may become a little disjointed I shall keep things moving along. Could be a good time to write up an earlier incident where you have explored looking for a connection or someone who could provide you with illegal items..)

Shade gathers in quite a lot of information from the four smugglers.. preferring to keep it out of earshot of the rat shaman..
they work for a Marcel Deuce - a haloweener. He set up the smuggling run a year ago. every month or so they have performed the same operation for five or six days - flood the sewers by overriding the sluice gates. Joe used to be employed by the City working on the machines down here so knows the exact perameters that will trigger an investigation if the sewers become over filled and potentially dangerous. Their rigger set up the guard turrets because last outing two gigantic rat things killed three of the crew. so now they operate a remote carrier submersible running out to sea - Marcel provides the our and position of the drop - they collect then ship the goods upstream.
the deepwater in the sewers keeps off the vermin the snoopers and allows the sub to be piloted to a collection point - changed each time. Yes they get well paid 500 a day.
Yes there have been snoopers who have ended up dumped in the Seattle Sound - quickly stripped by the toxins and voracious creatures out there.
they expect that they will be back in five or six weeks to do the same.
the four captives are bound and blindfolded - each answers roughly the same with certain items one will know and the others dont. Seems that this operation has been going for a good while - not too much or too often to attract too much attention.. a nice little earner for this Marcel.
Means the rat shaman will have known something about this for a while

My side of the bargain now - I show you the way to Carfax basement - neh? the crouched and filthy woman shuffles past the turrets across to the far side of the sluice - drops down to the lower crete walkway then shins up the pipes across a tiny ledge to a dripping grating across one of the many large pipeheads and indicates - Here - access route to Carfax - you done good so free advice.. bad smell from there chummer - watch yourselves
looks like thats the lot your'e going to get from her - unless you wish to enter into any further biz? she does seem to know her way around these subterrenean tunnels - like a rat around a maze...
she likes Chuck steers clear of Hunter and is neutural to Shade.. she doesnt like the prisoners - grabbing her knife when one of them moves suddenly..
as you contemplate the exit she has provided - you also contemplate the four guys, a couple of autorifles in the turrets, two flydrones and a crate of H&K s... the sub-pod seems like far too much work.. On the four they have a variety of cheap spit guns - uzi and flachetti's there is a variety of electronics gear in fold-away cases.. they have the cheap end of runner gear - you could use an appropriate skill to see if you know the electronics gear or could operate it correctly without just twisting stuff to see the result.. (three electronics type successes will do it vs standard 4s which will allow you to recognise what needs to be done)
Down down - lower the water gate - let the water out - do the controls for me.. hmm prisoners will know - I can cut it out of them..
By the way - you would recognise that because the goods have been brought in then there ought to be a collection point and time - so someone will be waiting for at least a crate of H&Ks. you dont have hours.... the drones would be tough to haul out but yopu could each carry a few smgs each if you wanted to travel through more tubes..
there is a lot of crap around but someone versed in sneakery could easily cover your trail...

Lucky for Shade he knows a little bit about computers. Not much but possibly enough given a bit of time. "Just don't cut them while I'm here. That kinda thing tends to... upset me." I honestly wish I had more time, I would love to fence it all out and make a small profit but there wasn't really time.
So to speed things up I cast Catalog. I myself didn't know everything so got a lot of "unknowns." I could however dictate a list into my pocsec which output it to a word editor. Of course some things while I didn't know them specifically got a vague description instead. I checked my list and since my water spirit was still helping us I had my other two spirits grab the stuff I knew was worth money.
It didn't seem like anything was ahead of us but I sent a watcher ahead to make sure, I lev'ed several box's as well. ((3)) "Alright I'm playing mule so you two just keep your eyes peeled." I walked over to the prisoners. "You got two choices. Help us carry shit or I leave you to the shaman. I'll let you go afterwords provided you haven't seen our faces, otherwise I let my friends here use you for target practice." I personally wouldn't kill them, I wasn't like that anymore but I had no problems closing my eyes and covering my ears while they did.
While waiting for their answer I took a moment to smudge our auras beyond identifying since it was faster then erasing it.
((one of questions Shade would ask is if their using metamagic of any type. IE your not pulling that masking shit on me this time, LOL!))

You now have the access route to the Carfax basement - the Rat shaman has shown it to you.
the prisoners are secure - you will all be very difficult to ID because of your plas suits - one guy was a troll though - had to be!
No doubt given the choice of being mules or dead the prisoners will bray. So where would you like them to go ? the Rat shaman would like to look after them. There are other choices..
It looks like there is enough electronics to manage and monitor the sluices and boost the drone signal - a couple of suitcase-sized consoles. the trolley-sized chassis for two turrets. bulky gear not worth a lot. their side arms are worth little on the black market. Even the smuggling pods are old and although useful would have little resale value.
the crate of H&Ks and the autorifles are easily disposed and worth the most - you guys can cart them along with you with no real problems.
the flybots are clumbersome so you could carry them instead of the guns - and will probably have trackers inside of them so the rigger can operate them.
Your auras are now smudged - the low background count from the sewer would interfere with someone trying to sense your presence.
No sign of metamagics. not even the rat shaman.
Shade decides what happens to what equipment and the prisoners - the rat shaman would like the water level lowered please. She was good at sneaking and ought to be good at covering tracks too.

Shade sets the prisoners up to carry the creates of firearms This kept our hands free to fight if anything happened and their hands too filled up to try anything stupid. I kept a watcher on them. Hunter and Chuck looked after them.
"I'll see what I can do." Shade looks at the consoles more closely and looks for manuals around the console if he got stumped. Baring that he raised his hand to activate his terminal interface and does a matrix search. He even had a way to boost his signal.

Bishop gripped his sidearm tightly, tugging at his facemask for a moment and ensuring it was properly positioned.
"Well, let's not beat about the bush," he quipped, his eyes searching through the dim light for the silhouettes of his compatriots. "I'd hate for us to be disturbed whilst handling any volatile substances."

"Right." Blackout responded subvocally, and started checking out the thermate. His pistol was back in it's holster, so his hands weren't distracted while he was handling hazardous materials. "Might want to put respirators on, this is going to make a lot of smoke. So where do you want to burn through?" He looked up at Bishop to point him to a 'creted over access. While he talked Blackout put on his own respirator mask, and starts setting up his Ultrasound scanner/detector. Though they wouldn't be able to see through all the smoke, the scanner would work just fine.
