SV Well if the camera is reading IR and you have a way to trip the Ultra sonic for a short time I can levitate that bucket we have and place it over the top of the system. If you think that would work let me know Black Out these systems are more your thing.
Micro trys to think of any other way to do it.Oh ya Silverwing keep scouting the area ahead of us and let me know when you find some personal that will be a problem.

Hunter could go for called shots and 'wing ' them one guy up top and two below and a hovvering rotor drone... Just when you think it is plain sailing (in the sewer) the recharging drone pops out the recharge cable and starts up the big central lift fan - a bank of led's all fire up - looks like you have a second drone waking up... Hunter can see that one of the two down below has hunkered down behind some machinery and is concentrating hard - he has the look of a rigger about him and the tool pouches wires as well.
(Chuck could easily thump the waking drone if you want him to)
Micro says using the sv that he could deal with the pod but is wary of the Ultrasound (and so you should be!) You would all need to scrabble backwards to reorganise in the maintenance room earlier with Micro in front
Blackout can easily loosen the grille so it can be removed - then Micro could send out the bucket to cover the pod.
things to consider: how to navigate the bucket over the pod in the dark without it banging into some sensitive wiring If you shine a flashlight onto the pod you will probably set off security alerts
once you get the bucket over the pod and blind it.. how will you secure the bucket to the roof? If someone needs to squeeze past will that disrupt Micro's concentration?
And No - shooting the pod will destroy the link and alert the Star
youre nearly there folks!
A mini-crawler bot armed with a paintspray could be useful now.. However Wrench has not been around for a week or so..
Freddy often carries an umberella with a heavily silvered inside very useful for disguising your heat sig from cameras as they are usually fixed above 'dog-sized heat' recognition so critters do not annoyingly set them off. The reflec from the silver is usually enough to damp down his human sized heat sign
good 'team building ' exercise this!

(ooc as i said, only shoot in a last resort, and never said i had to kill him.... but hunter definately not going to walk out of this in a body bag if he can avoid it... )) Hunter tries to be as stealthy as he can be (ooc, stealth roll : 6, 5, 4..{if you wnat me to use the die roller on here, i can reroll it there.. but thast what i got on my dice..} ) Taking his finger out of the trigger weld, he sneaks up behind the man, and takes a swing at him, hoping to knock this guy out as well...

<sv>"Chuck wait for my spirits then shoot the drone that's starting to move."
((speaking of, shouldn't my elamental's be pounding on their air support by now?))

Hunter can use the noise distraction to squelch the short distance and club the guy on this higher level.. as he pistol whips him the air elemental materialises to force its smokey tendrils into the flying drone - there are a few sparks and the drone drops into the water like a sack of spanners.. Chuck takes the opportunity to slam the but of his LMG into the awakening drone..
there is an gnnnnaakkk ! from the crouching one from below who jerks then sprawls on the crete floor.. one guy left who turns to observe his companion the drone and the lack of support from higher up - he blazes away at the cloudy outline above him - the elemental who has just dropped the drone..
the shots cause the ellie some distress - lightly wounding the poor thing
you now have one twitchy guy to deal with... looks like everything is going well.
Shade checks behind him in case a devil rat is sneaking up . nah nuffink there.. it will not take long now for Shade to join Chuck and HUnter on the crete causeway.. there is bound to be some lead a-flying from the one bloke left down below but you should be able to handle him (unless he is a werewolf or something real nasty.. watchers diddnt see any dual-natured thins around - so he ought not to be..)

"I could just spray the lense with with some primer." Blackout responded. "Problem with that, if it's IR the heat will bleed through eventually. I guess we can go with the bucket." He reached back to his bag and pulled out a roll of duck tape, something no electrician goes without. "Okay, when you levitate it, you don't move it more than a metre a second. I wont be able to spoof the scanner if you move too fast. I'll just get this cover off." Blackout set the tape down and set to work undoing the panel. It was routine work, though he made every motion with total caution to avoid banging or rattling anything. "Can you do fine handling? Like crimping down tape so it doesn't fall off? Otherwise Bishop you're gonna have to lift me up there to secure it."
(if it's simple enough, I'll assume success, doing it quietly isn't so easy, so...) Stealth 6: [dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][rand=158812045621809733462286567301023745459380354378117031657645752074]

Shade watched the first air support go down and was amazed Jack did that by himself. <w> "Whoa." If jack nailed that one then the other two much be going to work on the other air drone. Hunter was cracken guys left and right. Jack took a round but as long as he didn't take too many others he'd be alright in a moment. That's what made spirits so dangerous, they regenerated. Chuck smashed the drone that was powering up with one blow. <tht>I bet he's thinking, Chuck smash you! I took a quick look behind me to make sure nothing was sneaking up.
With everything going this well something was bound to crop up. There was still one more air drone to worry about as well as the point defenses. The battle was ours for now but I suspected this was the tip of a larger ice burg. <tht>Where's their backup? I looked behind me again.
((I would like to point out that knocked out/sleeping people can't fight spells according to the book so I'd like to know how your handling that wolf.))))

Henri waits patiently for Blackout to do his thing. He isn't keen on being in a metal tube this far off the ground and struggles to keep his voice even. "Can you get us through or do I start back the way we came?"

both drones are now kaput - one by the air ellie and the other by Chuck - one person left who had been distracted but has just taken a shot at the air ellie...
(elementals can regenerate when they go back to their own plane - this would end their service..)
Jack Daniels could turn on the last guy as he is an enemy..
(spirits will go for mana creatures and critters before destroying a machine - they are not too good with recognising machines although one that is in its own element could be easily targetted as something strange)
The grill is removed to the side and you shuffle back a little to get out of the scan of the camera..
now the mages could do their thing - they will need fine manipulation (+2 TN) to stickker or spray the lens - or even get the bucket over the pod. A raw spell intended to bash the thing is a lot easier!
then you may need a ladder and some crete-glu
once it is stuck in place you can get the right stuff to secure it properly but for now you just got to 'pin the tail on the donkey' in the dark with magic from inside a crallway.
(OOC I suggest that both Micro and Henri can try - at roughly the same time. it is going to be a difficult task so a little more difficulty shouldnt matter... TN 4 + 2 for fine manipulation + 4 for darkness - 2 stationary +1 for another mage trying to maintain concentration in a small space TN 9s ? if you think that you can improve this - please do! I can think of one way ha! and it is not a 'darkness' spell. There may well be other options...

((You can knock 2 off your penalty by using astral sight. Darkness is +4, astral sight is only +2. That's RAW, i got no clue how wolf will handle it.))
Jack's service complete now looks down at the guy who shot at him and processes to engulf his sorry ass.

(OOC can we use astral sight to off set the +4 darkness to a +2. Oh ya I will post the rest either tonight or tomorrow since I've been doing landscaping at my sisters for the last 3 days and need a bit of a rest.)

yup - astral will certainly reduce the penalties - though be aware you couldnt use it for reading anything off a comp screen and I would suppose you couldnt hear a machine voice either.. any other possibilities? you have the TN down to 7 so far.. Blackout mentioned spraying it with primer - that would work but only as a temporary measure. which is as good as duct tape.
Both Micro and Henri can have a go using TN 7 or think up any other wheezes to reduce it further..

(OOC Well we could just have Silverwing move the bucket since she has 3 dimensional movement but I think I may have to have her under an invisibility spell not to sure though. Would that make it any easyer? Unless her crow or human body form is going to set of a detector, I'll come back and check on the answer after I get some of my floor plans for my major assignment done.)

poor silverwing - as a crow she would be in the bucket rather than lifting it.. and as a human she may set off the alarms as her security understanding will be nil so she may move too fast.. I think SIlverwing is not the one for this job (phew* caw!)
(OOC Enjoy your floor-plans!)
