((Baaahh..))
**The 3rd floor corridor is dusty and damp. only 3 light out of the 7 present actually got a working light bulb. There's a boarded window at the end of the hall, letting out no light from the outside.
Out of the 8 appartments there, 4 on each side, 2 doesn't have to a have a door. The other 6 doors are closed.
Those with earing amps can hear whisper coming from the 3rd appartment to the right side of the corridor. the rest is silent, unknown if there's someone present or not**
((Fyi, the whispers are 3 guys: another 3 are hidden in 2 other appartment. all gangers are armed wiht pistols and SMGs loaded with Gel rounds.))

Lance started down the corridor on one side, moving practically silently now to evade notice and so he can keep his ears sharp. At the first door he paused for a second and stood to one side, where he carefully eased the doorhandle down then pushed the door - not hard enough to move it if it's blocked, but also not hard enough to make it slam or otherwise make a great deal of noise to alert the people in the third room. He edged into the doorway immediately with the gun pointing into the room ready to fire, but as much of his body as possible concealed by the doorframe. In close-quarter combat you need every edge you can get, suprise and cover can make bad odds much better. Shade watched his aura as he moved. He reached his pocket and pulled out some chewing gum. He liked spearmint. Blackout hears a light crumpling sound and shade pulls it out and unwraps it.
<tht>Hmmm.... you'd think he'd done this before.

Bishop followed after Blackout, his pistol pointing down to the floor. He followed Blackout's attempts to stay silent, but trained (or amplified) ears would no doubt pick up the rubbing together of the fabrics of his clothing as he hurried to keep up with the surprisingly quick-footed dwarf.
He stacked up on the door behind Blackout, braced to move as soon as the dwarf cleared the door frame and waited whilst Blackout cautiously edged the door open.
Speed, aggression and surprise obviously wasn't a mantra that Blackout was familiar with. Though Bishop was forced to concede that he was part of an unusually small fireteam, and in today's age of magic military tactics were no longer constrained to the rock, paper scissors of increasingly advanced bullets vs increasingly advanced armour.
He waited patiently in position, wondering what the dwarf's next move would be.

Seeing as this is just an in-game audition and not an audition of Seph's actual RPing, shall we waive the dice-rolling in an attempt to wrap this up and get back on subject in The Belly of the Beast?[rand=1183141825063346319219621109094698890484698711318107058743947091772]

Lisren I just had a thought. Sense we got covered in the bloody mist of the Vamp thingy. Shouldn't we all get blood tests to see if the blood will cause is to turn into what it was. Chuck posses this question before he goes to get the cyberware.
(( OOC Just thought of it now.))

Shade wraps himself in a stealth spell before they start sneaking down the hallway. Even with hearing amps anyone would be hard pressed to hear him.

((fair enough, assuming there's no-one in that room then?))
Lance switched sides of the corridor, checking the room opposite and entering as he had the first. He continued along the corridor, checking each door, and when a pair of doors had one open already he checked that one first. Constantly his ears were open for signs that some others were hiding in one of the rooms that the voices weren't coming from, and he moved with all the silence he could muster. When he reached the room where he'd heard the voices, Lance paused and indicated to Bishop with his free hand, then pointed at his eyes, then the door. Then he moved on to check the last few rooms for signs of trouble. He'd handle the enemy he knew about only after making sure they didn't have backup.
((so just stop me at the point where Lance finds something that needs a shooting))

Bishop nodded in response to Lance's hand gesture and stacked beside the door on the hinge side. He waited silently for Lance to finish checking the rest of the corridor.

**As Lance reached the second set of doors, from the last door frame to the right, as the door was missing, an Ork Ganger ducks out, spraying automatic fire with his SMG toward the duo.
He is soon followed by another Ork, coming form the far end door to the left of the hallway, himself with a SMG as well.
((Figured here since both of you are wired, you could move first, or get totally taken by surprise.))
As the firefight begins, you can hear movement coming from the second pair of door, from the one that's still hinged and masking your vision of what's inside.**

Lance didn't take the time to curse himself for making too much noise. He much preferred to shoot first, bitch later. Hearing the scrape of the ganger moving, Lance's gun was coming up before the ork was even visible. Though it wasn't totally familiar like his own sidearm, it was still connected to his brain through the link, and the gun was lined up with the ork's chest in an instant. Lance snapped off a double-tap before the guy even finished moving to fire, the two rapid gunshots shattering the previous silence of the corridor and Lance's damping cut in to stop him being deafened. Before he'd even had time to register the effect of his shots, Lance switched his aim to the other ork and fired twice more, planting another double-tap into the second gunner's chest. It took him all of a second to fire the four shots, split neatly between the two orks, owing to his cranked-up reflexes and computer-assisted aiming. Not to mention a healthy dose of skill. ((figures that we would stop using dice just after I arse up my stealth check ))

Bishop maintained his position at the door, taking a small step back and raising his sidearm to shoulder level in anticipation of bodies coming through it.
He glanced down the hallway to make sure Blackout had performed as expected and a hail of gel rounds wasn't about to come his way. Satisfied, he snapped his vision back to the front and sighted in on the door.

((Ok, back on track now)
The 2 gangers at the end of the corridor falls down, grapping their guts: it's only Gel, but it still stings like a bitch. From the 4rd room to your right, pops an Ork and another as well, both armed with pistols: they seems to not wanted to get shot, using the door frame as cover as they pop a couple of shots each in your direction.
At the second door to your left, the one Bishop is guarding, all quiet...until a long burst of automatic fire, coming from an AK by the distinctive sound they make, blast thought the door.
After that, the door swings open, revealing an Ork with an Ingram SMG entering the corridor, being covered by a Large Ork with a cyberhand, and armed with an AK: Bishop might know him as Peaches, the Ork Four-Eyes dealt with to get this little interview location secure. As for Blackout, he's an Ork he saw downstairs with an AK
**I though Delacroix said they only had Pistols and SMGs!**
