Chuck hefts the LMG - the two crates of ammo and a long weekend had been worth it even if the earplugs hadnt worked so well - he still had a tinkling chatter in both ears.. on the upside Chuck could now remove the heads of the targets with a swift burst and strip down then reassemble a variety of heavy shooters with ease..
The driver of the first SUV cried out in complaint into the fone five mile! dats the other side of the city ! - you goin to guarrentee we arrive in one piece an dont get hit by some kinda accident on the way? but eventually complied - leaving the other two vehicles to peel off .. something about picking up the jerks from the Star lockup... and the single SUV follows your directions to the meet. Wrench's drone follows one of the two vehicles into the all-day rushhour eventually leaving it in midtown. The ariving SUV is checked astrally - no magics present five occupants - tense... and it rolls onto the slipway down to the underzoom meet..
You are all well warned and in your chosen places.. the gangers recognise the meet is on and survey the area for activity.. all seems quiet.. (apart from the constant hammering of transports overhead..)
The SUV slows to a halt in a nice open patch of ground...

((Wait..we're ain't doing this at the diner as talked?...yet again they could have jsut stopped in what passed as parking..))
"Thank you for your cooperation. Do you see the diner on the other side of the street? I am inside, sitting in the far end booth. Come meet me."
He lid a smoke, reaching the team with the comm "All right, get ready it's show time."

Each one that got out of the SUV was assessed by my prying eyes.

the run-down diner is a good spot to watch from - it has a limited view to the outside but you can see most of the open area as the SUV drives up and two guys get out.. one in a smart suit briefcase small and weedy who listens to F-E's fone message and begins walking quickly towards the diner through the standard light drizzle of acid rain - the other a brick outhouse heavy longcoat shotgun occidental origin. - he stands in the car doorway - protection from two sides and peers around - taking in the gangers warming themselves at the oildrums.
he leans towards the suit and mutters something - then closes the door - the SUV keeps the engine ticking over as the two cross the near deserted road
The mages report back as the suitcase and brick approach the shabby diner door
Carrier is human nothing outstanding The goon is hevily cybered driver human two others carry AKs some implants heavy coats no magic all are tense
Bishop reports I have a good sight on the vehicle - I can target the tyres but occupants would be more difficult.
the suit opens the diner door and the brick takes one of the empty tables on one side of it- sitting facing out to the windows with his back to the counter - the tables are secured down so he cant flip one over.
The suit stands then looks around and walks across to the partitioned-off table at the rear.
Good day - I have the merchandise - we would like your verification to drop all charges - If you could call your laywer and organise that - I am authorised to make the exchange.

The mages survey the area - no watchers astral entities active magics.. there is a low toxic pollution below the zoom seeping around one of the crete legs - otherwise the area is clear.
Chuck covers the zoom ramps - the one leading off and down to the meet and the other leading up back onto the zoom.. the smell of recently stripped and oiled LMG keeps off the stemch of rotting rubbish.
A few vermin rustle in the debris causing the flying rats to flutter - no magic there either..
quiet.. very quiet.

Four-Eyes listened to the Mage's reports...good..none of that Magic bullshit, nothing but guns metal and Irons...and well, maybe the Kung-Fu craziness, they WERE Asians after all, He sure hoped that Tranq would be able to deliver the goods if it came to this.
The faceman was tinny, but that only means he can Kung-Fu better..His goon was just a goon, big and possibly dumb.
"Bish, don't fire except if they fire first...worse case use a AV round to get that engine block blown off."
The man settled in the booth. Four-Eyes just played around his filled mug of hot soycaf; he wasn't drinking the stuff at all since his quicken spells, but it was always good to splash around people's faces.
Good day - I have the merchandise - we would like your verification to drop all charges - If you could call your lawyer and organize that - I am authorized to make the exchange.
"Of course sir. But first, I'll need to see and verify the goods..And..do note that that I have no lawyer. I'm just the middleman here." He grins motioning to the brief case "come on, we both have other obligations to attend to, let's get this over with."

He lay perfectly still, his jacket covering his head and the rifle to prevent any lens flare from the scope. Bishop was hardly an experienced sniper, picking sniping positions had never been his strong point. And so the position he had found for himself, on the rooftop of a small overlooking building was less than ideal - he had only one escape route and the elevation the position afforded wasn't enough to allow him to cover all of the angles of approach and possible escape. But it would have to do.
Bishop chimed in over the comms, responding to Four Eyes.
"Have that."
He smoothly changed out his mag to the magazine of AV rounds Four Eyes had so generously provided.

After reporting in I went back to my watch. The whole place felt like the calm before the storm. I expected fall out or boil over any minute.

I am authorised to provide 100 upfront and the other 100 once my clients have had the charges dropped and walk free. Here is the initial amount.
I expect the transfer will take a while - the Star release procedures can be wearisome. No doubt you will wish to verify the stix. I canot release them from my sight. Do you have a reader? I doubt this cafe will have such.
He opens the case.. ten credsticks neatly bundled on top of a few real paper files. He takes a bottle of agua out and sips. Lokks like the sort of laywer-type who can sit for very long periods...
(you got the cred-reader?)

((Yeah I took it))
"Understandable...Yes I have a reader here, I shall verify the sticks for the first half of the amount. Feel free to order something while we wait, I shall take care of the note."
Four-Eyes got out the 'stick reader and began verifying the sticks, putting them on the cheap briefcase he bought before coming over; it still had the demonstration cardboard and fake business card just to show people there's spaces for business cards, credsticks, paper packs..but form the outside, it looks like he knows what he's doing. "Would you like a cigarette?"

Micro stays up high acting as a birds eye view so he can notice any unwanted vehicles heading there way. With Bishop not up close and personal if Micro sees any incoming vehicles he will let Bishop know since it won't give away the fact that a mage is roaming in astral keeping an eye on things.

Micro was taking the sky so I stayed just above street level. I made sure to look down alleys. I never stood still. I was always on the move and always assessing.

Wrench kept his rotodrone circling the diner looking for trouble. He was safely ensconced in his armored truck. He was scanning for other signals, making sure no one was sniffing around electronically. The other drones were either on standby or...
He keyed his encrypted com. @@ F-E. Just got an idea. Going to send the other drone on a long range tail. Going to follow the ones in lock up from long range. Won't get details at that range but might be able to at least see where they're goin. It'll be far enough back that won't be seen. Unless they go into rough territory. Will break of the tail if that happens. We'll have to do it the physical way with whoever is doing it. They got my minispy.@@ And he proceeded to do just that with a portion of his mind.
