What you lookin for in a Run then? Danger, action, outthink the opposition..? Well what about the keeping the wolf from the door, bread and butter runs... B & E, riding shotgun, ramraid.. the mundane stuff that pays just enough to cover the bills, and nets just enough practice to keep you on your toes... Upside is - crap pay means crap opposition, you just may not have to get geeked!
No offence ! I'm not sayin that your bills are too big - Its your skills that need the edge, fully understand..
My man's looking for a team who want to be out of town for a while - fishig trip - for week or so. Got some parcels to deliver and some people to meet, discreet.
Got wheels for the mountain terrain..? they do trees, they dont do public access to the matrix out there much.. An the pay? well 3000 a day, ten day tour..
up to six heads - less you want to split the pay and take along more..
The route..? east and south - Cascades then Sinsearach - yup thats orc an elf land - trees and stuff. Rangers there are nice, as long as they dont see anything too heavy. Thats why the bus burns alchahol, keeps em happy
A grand upfront -
Had your rabies shots? your a Barrens-boy, no need.
Trip's leaving in four days
Word says youre interested...

startup time - now - Joe's Garage has a billett, juke box, you can checkout the bus.. get to know the guy you'll be chowin on beans with for ten days
Well be setting off Friday 9th. Lucille will be the main driver through the Cascades, knows the country and some people.
Why dont he just mail it? and trust to a courier service! hah! they are governed by rules and regulations.. you know how much that costs to circumvent! anyway, its big.
Got your thermals? its cold up there - except the lava flow bits..

If theres a need, we can pick up and drop off along the way.. Lucille is expecting a couple of passengers in the Cascades.. She grins a toothy grin, three gold teeth light up the orc's face before she strolls over to the old time juke-box, selecting Martha Reeves - Heatwave

If ya need another character I made a Combat Decker , with a few mods from the SR3 book . However it's not cleared through admin customs yet . If ya need an extra an he clears I'll tag alone . But new players or people who are not already in a run should go before me . I have Grassfire in boombababy's already .

Ther'll be a few people turning up at Joe' Garage - any adjustments made while passing through admin customs shouldnrt make a lot of diffference to your mugshots..
By the by - you will need to have a club membership foto ID card made up for you by Lucille - when the Rangers search the bus they have to see valid ID for any tourist trip, - Lucille suggests snowsports, critter watch or Amerinterest trail. Once there are three votes for the trip reason she can get to work on the ID and you can get to work on finding out about your holiday subject..

Go with critterwatch, you never know what you'll run in in the woods, so that might cover the leadtrowers...and I always wanted to see forest animals for real!

And on a serious note. Kids, when you see a braddocus foureyeus, please don't feed it as it will follow you home and do unspeakable acts to your couch and dinette set.

Lucille sets up the vid that night with: 'Welcome to the Western Seaboard National Parks - A Guide to the Great Outdoors'
It covers the delights and dangers encountered by tourists: glorious spreading vistas, miles upon miles of stick to the beaten path Wildlife to photograph and what to do in a bear encounter Camp do's and restrictions. do not feed the squirels The Rangers - there for your safety - square jawed and pointy-eared Extremesports - why lavasurfing is an offence Enlightened creatures, how to negotiate with a wolf pack Why not go caving? quakes and tremors Forest fire - arson or hot rock spill? Giant wasps are not so dangerous.. calling in paramedics and anti-venom
Followed byan ice-cream interval...

Sound as a pound - generally sidearms will be acceptable outside in the wilderness - bigger weapons will need to be hid well, or you carry a licence and apply for a hunting permit 'so you want to kill animals for fun, eh...'
entering townships would depend on the township law enforcement level...
There are a good few Rangers around - keeping the main routes safe, of course if you want to avoid them and go native.... (hows your wilderness survival..)
Collecting pics for publication is encouraged - this sort of shooting could bail you outof a tricky sitch... you may even make some cash on the side! National Geographica here we come!

We will be kicking off proper on Friday 10th - not long !
It is worth detailing your gear -
there are standard survival packs handed out - flares matches space blanket fishing line salt 3 day iron rations (tastes the same too) distress bleeper emergency med, all in a 1 lb bumbag.
Lucille is easy going and should be able to answer most of your questions, but skirts around cargo and specific destinations.. 'Been living in the mountains for a good while - took up driving three years ago, reasonable living for me and mine...'

' Critterwatch it is then guys ' says Lucille - and begins to shuffle around in the vid slug box for her copy of Mountain Beauty - the one where the cameraman gets slashed by a Lynx
Heh.. let' take some fuzzy pics of you and stick em into a club ID... You 'll need them when the Rangers frisk us - they will find us - thermal drones keep a tag on most big creatures along the backroads, in the forest deeps they couldnt investigate , let alone hope to cover the area. Thats one reason for us going through the hotspots... 'Helena' has been very quiet recently...
