It was a forum rule that 1 member be allowed to participate in 1 campaign at a time, this was to allow new members to be able to get into a cmapaign fairly quickly, since the rule has been bent alreay I figured it then should be up for a vote. SO I will add my $.02 now and say that I personally will be voting for 2 max ONLY because 1 person in 3 or 4 campaigns will get confusing, it wil be hard enough trying to figure out which character the member is running if in more than one campaign.. one rule will not change though, no matter how many campaigns the site allows one member to be active in.. they MUST play a different character for each campaign. The more campaigns one person is allowed to participate.. the more chance of confusion and error. at least thats how I see it..

I don't know about that in a d20 forum I am in 3 seperate AD&D campaigns and am easily able to seperate all of my characters from each other. Plus running a game here. If I didnt have a wife and work. I could proabably handle being in another 5-6 games and running 2-3 more.
I think it is based on the individual... As for letting people play in my game that were already in another game I asked people to apply and only 7-8 even applied, some of them didnt even make character backgrounds. I would rather have people that at least bothered to make a little history for themselves other wise I am not going to have any fun as a GM either. I would have liked to have all new people, but I don't want to suffer for it either.

If you can seperate your characters i tink it is good. For me it takes a sec to look at my sheet and think "who was this guy?". I couldn't handle many at a time but i think others could. and a side question. How mnay characters are legal at one time in the UGR?

I think two games, but two separate characters. That way, there's less issue of IC bleed over...

when i made my vote, i forgot about teh UGR. in the past, in yahoo chats, i have managed to rp 4 different characters at the same time. lagged the computer a tad, but it worked. doing it real time is a challenge, and i would think that doing it on a forum woudl be just as much of a challenge cuz you have to remember which char you are playing, and there is more time between posts. now, for the UGR.............well, i would have to say that you shouldtn do more than 2 their for the reason that its simpler that way,
