Every 6 points of armor will increase the vehicles handling by 1. This means you have a higher Target Number (TN) to hit when you are trying anything cool with your car.
TN for spotting concealed armor is 9- (armor rating / 3 (round down)) This means more armor more likely Lone Star will start asking questions.
My friends and I where going to play a "amp guard sage." in a park with foam swords the cops decide to pull up and ask us what we where doing. Did a check on what the swords where before they let us go on our way. So if your armored to the teeth Lone Star may start to bug you a bit more. Just a heads up.

CF is the number that is right under Cargo ares road master has a 80 CF. This number represent the space you have in the van.
To install the armor TN = desired armor rating / by 3 round up.
Since we don't roll alot this means that it will take time.
Time = armor value times 8 hrs.

Most of the mods for vehicles are in the Riggers 3 source book. If you don't have access to it I can try and find what you are looking for. If you do have the book it is around page 122 that all the mods are at.
There are a few types of armor. Vehicle armor, and concealed are are the 2 most common.
Vechicle armor cost 1,250 per point for parts, and take up (Body x Body X 5) Kg per armor point in load space. (SI of 2.5)
Concealed armor cost 2,000 per point for parts, takes up (Body x Body x 5) Kg per armor point in load space, and 3 CF per point. (SI of 3.5)

Micro thinks over what has been learned about the area. I'm fine with 2 teams we can put a mage in each with the 3rd on astral over watch. With the basement we will need something that will cut through what Shade and I encountered. Odds are it is filling up all entrances. Also if Four Eyes could get some high end bullets for the team to use if we hit some big drones that would be great too. Micro thinks for a bit. Since Henri was on over watch last time and Shade seems like he doesn't want to be in the astral I could do the over watch unless someone else wants to or has a better plan. Micro lights a smoke and walks out of the air space of the others to try and not get his death stick fumes on them.

HISTORY The twin brothers, Thomas and Miles O’Malley, were born sometime in the past thirty years. Their records were lost when the server the information database was stored on mysteriously combusted along with all the known backups. Eventually they turned 18 and graduated from high school. The long suffering teachers finally thought they would find out which boy was which, up until the principle called Miles’s name to come get his diploma and both boys showed up to claim it, and they repeated the performance when Thomas’s name was called. After Graduation, UCAS records show that the boys joined the Metroplex Guard and one of them demonstrated magic use, but claimed he was both Miles and Thomas. This resulted in psychological counseling for the both of them. Records indicate the twins continually impersonated each other as a joke on the rest of the guard. After serving for four years the twins were discharged and the command staff breathed a sigh of relief that they would never have to try and figure out which twin they were dealing with. After they got out one of them began to dabble in the stock market and managed to make a killing. The other twin is rumored to have hired out to various gangs and underworld figures to make a different kind of killing. Flush with money, the twins have decided to start their own business, dealing in acquiring items for rich employers.

as for biting your head of Shade it is because you started to bit my head off first with the light spell. I don't like how you always tell runners how to run their characters this in also why I went off on you (more then I should have.) ex. Four Eyes and the spells on him.
With the regeneration spell go for it. The Magic expansion has rules on how to do it. Just fallow those rule and do it.
As for the single power everyone has we will have to see what it is like and decide if wolf is ok with it but by the sounds of it everyone not just mages can have this manifest in them. If not I'd say save money buy a sustaining foci or learn meta magic anchoring or Quickening. I still think a drawback would be good some way of limiting it's use like I stated above.
If we do agree to allow this power I would suggest that we put our minds together and decide on what all the different powers could be. ex. you like levitation, how is armor, or analyze device.
What is the Force of these powers are they linked to a attribute Int, Will, Charisma, etc. Can the force change with these attributes or do you start at force 1 and use karma to increase them. These should be question you ask yourself. When you have these done I still say write it up and lets take a look we will have to have everyone give there oppition and let wolf give the thumbs up or down.

My suggestion is to write it up with all of what you have in mind but mainly put some drawbacks into it or it will not be balanced. In drugs to get critter powers they have addiction, and crashes. Spells have Drain and TN mods to them. Focus can be destroyed, dispelled, and attacked through astral space. Make sure that the write up you decide on has some drawbacks that can be used by NPC is deal with this upped power. This way the system is still balanced.
As for an Edge it might be hard to do but I still like the Technique idea. You could try and learn a sustaining foci type technique thing is we should also then make powerful technique for fire arms and so one. Also a drawback could be that it can only be used X number of times in a day. If dispelled have to wait X number of Hours(minutes, days). Also it could be away to be attacked via astral space.
As for lashing out at you Sorry, I first said how this could be too powerful, then you went into how Four Eyes is too powerful from me locking a spell on him. So when you stated how me locking on a spell angered you, I got angry when you tell the GM that he can't change the rules only a few pages back in The Belly of the Beast. Coming fresh off reading that I see now you want to make a new power for yourself changing the rules that benefit you. This is why I stated what I did.

As for writing it up you have not you have only given a quick this is generally what I want it to do not the exact cost and how it works. Spells, adept powers, and techniques in a shadowrun book will show you what I mean by writing it up. Cost, effects, advantages, and disadvantages etc.
As for why I cast a spell and locked onto Four Eyes this is between me and Four Eyes. Micro's thoughts out of everyone in the group Four Eyes is the oldest member then Micro. Since Micro has done missions with Four Eyes, where Four Eyes has shown Micro that he can trust him with his life he locked Spells onto Four Eyes so that Four Eyes would be able to be more efficient at keeping himself and Micro alive.
If you have a group of runner and your life is in their hands do you want to give them the best equipment to keep them and yourself alive. I sure do if I know I can trust them and Four Eye has shown me that I can trust him.
If wolf wants I can reroll my Quickening for this site so there is a refrence for what the successes are. That way from that post forward Four Eyes can know with out a doubt what the success are and not just here say. Odds are the roll I did was for the Armor spell and not the Detect magic spell since armor only need one success and no more effect how it works so I'll re roll for the detect spell if that is what Wolf wants. I will wait to hear what Wolf wants since he is the GM and gets the final say.
Funny Shade how you are now trying to change the rules for something that will make Shade more powerful but when the rules are changed by the GM and they don't fit into helping Shade out IE Summoning that you get mad about it. Why is it that when the GM the ONLY one with the right to change the rules does it you get made but now you want to change the rules to help yourself out???

Micro asks Meg a question "Since it sounds like there is going to be drones to deal with I was wondering if you would like me to see if I can get some ammo that would be able to punch through a drones tough skin. I know a guy that should be able to get the stuff there are 2 things that would be needed, first the nuyen I don't have the capital to pay for the ammo of the team so if you can get the money for it I know a guy that will be able to help out. Then second thing is I could take some time before he has the ammo we want so we may have to wait a bit before we go storming into the sewers to see what is down there. It is your call. Micro sips on his cup of coffee and waits to see what Meg say about this idea.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As for places to go and see all I can think of is a Museum that would have lots of Paranormal critters displayed this way they get away from the alchemy and still get to learn something as they do it. I wouldn't give them a test on it eather that way they are more relaxed and not so stressed on the trip. Micro thinks to himself to see if anything else pops into his head. I guess if there is any where in the world that you think would stand out as a great place to see we could go astrally there and check it out. Again a way to learn and relax.

So where is my rolls that tell you I rolled only one success or can you not find them I sure can't. So you are just assuming I rolled 1 success or tell me where I rolled it so I'll check. Funny if you are assuming I rolled only one and not 2 or 3. If you or I can't find it I can roll again for the thing then Four Eyes can have a base for it.
Sounds like what you want is to get the meta magic of quickening. or a combo of quickening and anchoring. If this is a big deal to you to get this new ability way not write the whole thing up on how it works then post the completed version of it then wolf will see how it works in total. This way when we say it seems like a "spell lock" or the meta magic Quickening, we have the ability in full in front of us. I still think the books have enough abilities for mages in them.
I do like the idea of "learnable techniques" that wolf stated but if we use it for spell casting it should be a list of techniques for firearms deckers riggers and so on this way the game is still balanced for all character types.
In ending write up what you want this ability to do and post it. We can all state what we think but in the end it will be up to Wolf if it is aloud or not.

FE's spell I locked on his is a detection spell and will give info to him info on what is stated in the book how FE processes this info is how he processes it. If you want to rehatch old eggs let me know how it is more powerful then it should be.
As for an innate spell with no drain, and may be able to be attacked from astral being the same as sustaining foci I don't see it. If you want to be able to cast it with out having to pay to sustain the spell why not buy a sustaining focus that is why they are there.
I guess you could try and get an advanced focused concentration that takes the number of spells you are sustaining divide by 2 and round up to give you a TN modifier. But if you get a free sustaining of a spell are you even going to be rolling drain to do the spell or what. I think Seph is right Mage already have a ton of power they can tap into.

The only problem I could see coming from such an action would be getting very very powerful. This would not be good. I think with just the +1 TN to a sustained spells is good. If this type of thing was going to be used there would have to be some kind of drawback to make it use able or it would be TOO Powerful.
I still want to get the staff of the magus that Raistlin has thing is the anchoring meta power doesn't work that way OH well too bad this is not D&D I'll live for now, But later the power will be mine HaHAhAHAHaHA ;D Ok hard to do an evil laugh with text.

I trust you guys enough that I'll let you stay at my pad when you go out of body, as for the gangers I do trust if they are payed well enough they will keep their side of the deal. I am throwing out ideas we don't have to give them the heads up that we are there, if you want we can just use watchers, elementals and Silverwing to give our bodies back up. I'm totally fine with that no biggy to me. Micro waits to see what Shades opinion is on this variation of the idea. Before getting back to ammo.8

Micro thinks to himself after he hears Shade not wanting to leave his body with the doc. Well I did think we where going to get an introduction to the guy, Well I have 2 places to lay my head right now but I still want to keep the small hideout secret for the time being. HUMM. Micro quickly runs through some alternatives. Ok Shade has a point what I think would be a better idea is at times that we do leave our bodies it may be better if one of our homes is used as a base to head out from. I'd let you stay at my place down in Tarislar, Puyallup. But if I find out that you mess up my house while you are there we may need to get a different place. Since we do have so many mages here we could set up one or two low power elementals or a watcher to inform the projector if problems arise. Also since I know a guy that is in the biker gang that runs in that area for some nuyen we may be able to get them to send some back up if that house gets attacked. Micro waits to see what Shades response is to this then he will bring up the ammo talk again to see if anyone of the guys sporting guns what to get some better ammo of course there will be a cost for the ammo and I'm not sure if Meg will pay out for the ammo or not.8
