- Sooo, Hamble has had an accident, Well come on in and close the door - Tell me all about it.. poor guy
Hunter stands i the doorway, knowing there is backup - but he is on the pointy end... You can all hear what they are saying, but cant see without gawping around the doorway...
The thing that does strike you is the fetid stench that wafts out past Hunter (you feel extra sorry for him now!) like a layer of rotten grease being laid inside your throat (Anyone eaten recently ?)
(OOC _ Up to you Hunter, you going in, and closing the door? The others outside can hear but not see the owner of the voice. If they want to have a look, they too would have to be in the doorway...
It is an idea, it has got you a foothold, and the orcs love you for it - they all wish that they had thought of it, it is sooo in-yer-face! probably why your not dead...)

Slide the chair out and take a seat - further, just there, now take the weight off your brains and make yourself comfortable - cant be too careful out here in the wilds - you with anyone?
Theres more rummaging sounds from the cabin a couple of clunks by the door that has closed..
Fryer has a good look in through the wondow - theres a slight gap in the curtains - you can see an orc in a flackvest holding a pump action - preseumably at Hunter... he is taking a couple of things off a sideboard and onto the table, hard to see... putting something on his head.. goggles?
Four-Eyes and John can hear them talking through the door

(OOC he looks grey and pallid like the others were....)
You would all be able to make out the following..
Hunters voice.. What is that..?
IR lamp - to check if theres any nosey-parkers outside..
Sil ver.. whats the noise? comes from one of the other rooms
Just a visitor - He says Hambles been in an accident..
You all know that this is not a pleasant voice - Hunter - your first instinct is to cover your ears and wail - it is the verbal equivalent of the stench that you have kept from so far gagging on - it is high and full of effort.
For those outside the voice is like sharp stones on glass - queasy making - the woods men twitch, tightening the grip on their rifles, ready to fire.

He cadnt take it any jmore, and falls to a knee, wretching on teh floor at the smell. He could have held it but that voice...that awful voice. he did have enough compulsion to make sure he fell sidewars to the ork. and his hand moved across his body, as if he were holding his stomach, but instead readched into his longcoat and to his side where one of his two semi auto pistols were held.....

(OOC you are correct! their DNA has already done the meta-change thing..)
The orc is distracted talking to the voice, sidling over to the lightswitch and amused at the state of Hunter - multitasking three things- so he is going to react slowly to Hunter's sneaky/quick draw
1/2 Talk 3/4 lights 5/6Hunter ?

He is quite happy in watching you react in obvious discmfort to the voice - you know that you could draw - but he would get a shot off.. He is effectivly observing you closely, gloating, while keeping you covered Hah ! watch the human squirm, hu hu huh.
Outside.. Fryer can make out the orc, looks kinda grey like the others were, he is watching something while the voice curdles your innards.. the window is wooden frame thick glass - you'd have to break it rather than just smash the glass to get through. On the three sides of the cabin that you have seen, are five windows two each side , and one to the front with the door
Four-Eyes and John both flinch at the sound of that new vile voice from inside.. listening hard at the door
Out in the trees, you both catch a flicker of movement, and if you diddnt see that, then the close-by howl from the forest gives it away.. answered by three, four - no, six.. more
The woodsmen look to you, indicating - cabin - wolves?
(OOC - good time to go into detailed rounds - the orc is slow - like the other three were, but he has the drop on Hunter... John 15 Fryer13 Hunter 9 Four-Eyes 7)

Your Browning blows a pane out - 8 successes (1's dont count) thats an 11D. the heavy glass takes off a chunk, but the bullet does find its mark - the flack vest soaking most of it..
You have successfully drawn his attention and so he lets off two shots with his held action one at the window (blindfire)
the other swings at Hunter (you could have a table as cover)
then takes a step back behind some furniture - providing partial cover (but not from Hunter)
The gas vent takes the recoil and the shot hits the window area - blowing it out in a cloud of shattered glass - You avoiding this Fryer.. or taking the shards on the way through, in your heroic athletic leap, into hand to hand?
Hunter - you can see the barrel turning onto you , you can roll into the partial cover of the table, take the blast then shoot afterwards... or quickdraw and shoot, then he can let go at you in the open afterwards, if he is still there..
John has got the speed over Four-eyes.. you both see Fryer about to shoot through the window..
Another few wolf howls sound out
The woodsmen are looking to follow your lead.. rocks and hard places...

Quickly rolls under the partial cover and brings part of his long coat up to his face to help protect it. This is gonna hurt. (forgot what i need to roll for taking a shotgun blast, other than a prayer to god.)

OK Hunter - that makes it easy for me...
The window takes the first blast, and the second blast blows a great chunk out of the table and your coat takes the rest - splinters and shot pepper your hands - your move has probably saved your life...
That is the orc's held option over - he is now able to take a shot after everyone else has had their initial action
Hunter has had his mother's arse of a reaction
Fryer has had a pre-emptive attack drawing the guy's attention.. and is is deciding whether to jump in through the window in order to get a strike in this round - or duck the shattering glass hurtling towards his eyes...
John -being very nippy will get a swift move ...and another at the very end of the round - after the orc
Four-Eyes has a single action
Then the orc
then John's second..
It looks to be a full house with lead on the menu - and visitors prowling outside..
