'Thanks Hunter - by the way - last couple of days theres been some wolf trouble - nothing bad - theyre being over-enthusiastic, lots of noise.. you'll hear 'em tonight no doubt..
I'ts real leather, smell the oil, supple light strong - couldnt let the pair go for less than 950... 'less you dont need the harnessing and we can talk about just the pair themselves... you can try them for balance..
Negotiations begin to open up over the revolvers
Fryer, after browsing the shop, keeping an eye outside.. theres a lot of heavy tyre tracks in the dirt outside. The place must get a lot of stops. One heavy truck grumbles past an artic' carrying two thick 30-40 foot tree-trunks towards Seattle. How much is that worth? 20 ? 50 grand? Just behind a 7 ton truck pulls in. A minute later three guys dresed in city clothes exit the caf-house, quickly checking around. After a brief discussion the truck rolls around the rear of the caf followed by two of the three - the third stands just to the side of the biulding, cleaning his shoes and keeping an eye on the area...

(OOC - roll those bones for starting cash! that juicy 3D6 * 100 creds has just come in handy! - you could tap Lucille for a sub, but she seemed well chewed off.. Got anything to trade..? Have a dig, explore !
I tend to go by the straight book lists for most costs - but the bigger/nastier the stuff though , the bigger the markup - hey you could buy standard shells and plastic armour plates round these parts for half normal price ! )

Standing behind John, Four-Eyes looked at the pair of Revolvers that the clerk was showing him.
"Damn John those are nice, better get 'them..Oh and sir, about 'them wolves..Is it possible to purchase a hunting permit for them? In case they get too daring, I don't wanna have to shoot at them like I'm a poacher or somethin'."

box of specials, two of thirty standard, cleaning box -- do you need a receipt - as you can't claim tax back here in the Cascades - but I can convert that into a 'Cascades bought Permit' - not that many would ask.. You want that wrapped or you going to try em out?
He cashes the worn credsticks, draining the last trickles of yen hiding in the corners, prints a plas ticket out carrying barcoded details of the revolvers - old fashioned but readable by almost anything..
(You have left your gal, and the 'First and Last' diner behind, twenty mile back. The small caf across the parking area is a typical small caf in a typical Cascade 'township'.)
' You wont need a licence to shoot wolves 'less you are going out to hunt them - then youll need a tracker and a few days to find them. Any hunting trip should be organised a few days ahead. As Hunter is with you his credentials as a guide will cover any self defence incidents if they occur. Wolves dont attack unless theyre reall hungry, plenty of critters up there that they can take down. So unless there is a real need, you dont need to deaw a bead on them. You're townies, but you're not dressed in your holiday best and you dont have that gormless look of excited schoolkids needing to spend all their creds in one go - bit like the fellas at the caf.. 'less theres any shooting, then they too are here for the views just like you.
We do have a nice line in nylon over-shirts in hi-vis colours 16.99 each - a bargain! (garish swirls of green and orange - with a big toothed moose and 'Cascade Country' on the back, dangle from a rack) seeing Hunters raised eyebrow, OK 12.99 each..

"No need to wrap them ill just wear them out, but thanks. and yes id like that receipt if i could." With that said John takes his his new weapons loads them both pockets the rest of the ammo, puts his two real leather belts on and drops in the 2 new revolvers. 'ooh that feels nice' he thinks to himself comenting on the feel of the new revolvers as they hang from his hips. John then draws them both aiming at a bare spot on the wall. "That does feel nice. I love the balance in these. in the way they look and the way they feel. t hey just seem like the most perfect revolver ever made. thank ya much sir." John then holsters both of his New Ruger Super Warhawks, and the rest of his ammo.

Turns around and looks at where Fryer is looking. "Not unless that diner has moved 20 miles since we left and followed us here." he said with a chuckle, yet his eyes took in the city people. This was odd, not often that you saw people dressed like that out in this area. And their behavior didnt make him feel any better either.
He paused, thinking to himself for a few moments before turning back to look at the shop keeper. "Tell me mate, ever see those folks or their like around here before? Cuz I sure haven't... Less I'm hired by them that is....." he asks, nodding to the truck and the suits.

"Yeah John, 'must say, good buy you did, they look good..hope you know how to use them hahaha!"
Still smiling about his comment Four-Eyes got a box of ammo (7M), and 2 extra speedloaders, alongside a revolver cleaning kit and an extra bottle of gun oil. After the transaction is complete, he gives a quick glance at the men at the cafe across the street and leave the store, lighting a smoke, slowly walking back at the bus.
He arrived at they bus, right about when his smoke was half-way done, he puts out the fire, and pockets the rest of his cigarette, question of not polluting such a quiet place..and also for not waste half a cig.
He sat down at the helper's seat, noticing Lucille giving a pissed-off look, and what a look it was...
"Hey Lucille, what's the matter?..If you wanna shop'a'bit I can keep an eye on th'bus, no problem there."
Four-Eyes pulled out his newly bought speedloaders and started loading them.

'those city boys cruised in 'bout an hour an a half ago - minding their own business, looks like theyve met up with some old freinds. .. and yes, quite a few folks like to organise their reunions up here in the Cascades... I had a few similar lookin folk here in my shop just a while back - cant remember just what they looked like, I dont have a vid in here, they bought some shells then looked like they were headed out Oh yeah.. they got sidetracked before buying those shirts that holidaymakers like to wear so much.. people do notice something different, but if its normal it just blends in... You want three of them gift wrapped?'
