"It gonna be fine I will talk to the guards inside and let them know I brought my own guy to look over the trucks, which by the way are those 3 over there with the Dewey, Cheatham & Howe logoif you are approached play it cool and tell them you are here for call the office you will wait and it should be fine just don't provoke an incident to get shot .
With that said Quick heads into the building to make sure the drivers are properly motivated and ready to drive.

... if the job is going to get done! OOC: Pelch, "It's OK by me Krondax if you want to take control, as long as everyone is in agreement to support you. "
"Mao, to answer your question, Davik has been called away on serious business. In real life people come and go so why should it be any different in game? When people part company because of a job, new interests or whatever, some times you see them again later and some times you don't, life still continues as it will for our runners. No one is indispensable. Always a replacement somewhere. C'mon now, tell me that you did read THAT post about his leaving! It's some of my better work! IF you didn't read it, I am going to be really depressed."
"JOHNSON! YOU CHEAPSKATE! Give us a reward." signed......... Mao! snicker....chortle... gloat...
OOC: Pelch, "Next on the agenda is a 'road map' so you guys can do a bit more and contribute more to the storyline. With Boombaby/Wheels writing so well it's time we take the writing style to the next level. A 'road map' is some guidelines I give you that pertain to the storyline. You can work inside them to expand the surroundings and history. This way I should be able to withdraw more from writing for your characters and concentrate in other areas like bringing Seattle and the NPC's around us more to life. With that term explained let's look at what each of you need to contribute to the storyline while moving your character around. REMEMBER: If you go blank with writers block and need a suggestion MAIL ME. I'll give you a marker so you don't get lost.
First be aware: In the current game, Tony is part of Dom's world. Johnson has made it very clear to me that we can investigate him, maybe even appear to wound him, but we CAN NOT AT THIS TIME, Kill or Capture him. As for Tony's abilities and history? ONLY Johnson OR the Moderator can touch on this. However, you have wide latitude to deal with his minions, just don't make them ALL CRIMINALLY STUPID, PLEASE! Remember also the parameters of our job which continue to apply if we want to get paid! Most adversaries we dealing with will be Holloweeners and we have to be careful there as well. Also be wary of the Star and try not antagonize them.
Now each of you is also going to be tasked with expanding the view of our surroundings, and you need to write a bit in detail from your characters viewpoint to do this. Remember other characters will have other views on your work depending on knowledge a ability so don't expect that players characters will like what you do! Don't take IC personal! IN GAME Facts will be the same and should not be contradicted, character observations can be different and contradictory. Be sure to note the difference between them.
Boombaby/Wheels, your the rigger. I want you to expand on security in the tunnel that leads down from the parking area to the living quarters. No bombs please. Surveillance gear, detectors, protective devices, mostly passive is what we require. Use some imagination and get good items, but NOT top of the line equipment. Do like you did with the tracker and spell it out a bit. May I suggest ammonia detectors and camera's as a start as well. The walls of the lair should be Fab treated. When you have the devices and descriptions in place, You will need to start on the control room and the areas you will need to work with as rigger. Don't do this all at once. Do it as you move around and get the pass codes and keys from Mao. You are going to be working the Security Issue and keeping us hidden. That is a big job. The you have a rigger HEAVEN to design.
Krondax/Black Widow, IF you are going to be the leader there are a couple of things we need to bring you through. Obviously, you will be making the tactical decisions, you will have to deal as go between with the Control and your team, and you are going to be working to meet the management of Ace Tomato Company, who will be supplying the hideout and funding our operation. So while I work with you a bit behind the scenes with that, you could start building a bit more on our living quarters, dining area, exercise room, how we get supply's, and the other day to day items we need like bathrooms.
Emyaj/Quicksilver, you get to start the buildup of our pistol range and Armory which will include weapons and ammunition. Don't get stuff we can't get quietly off the street and will attract little notice. Use the Beaver and JJ for this. You are also going to insure everyone learns some combat techniques and we are going to practice group combat tactics. You are the instructor. That means you REALLY have to look at each character sheet and show them, out of game as well as in game, how to determine dice required for snap shooting and sniper shots for each character based on the tactics we will be using. We are going to work on best attacks for each person and test to see what works and what doesn't. We also need to find someone in the group who is very accurate with grenades as well, you never know when a gas grenade or smoke might be handy. We will need to do this between runs but you can start setup at anytime and do it when you have nothing major to post.
Mao, for now, due to your still learning you are going to be the gopher. You are also required to go find your partner and bring me back....heh heh heh, that will be good practice for you. Pelch will not be posting period, until you get him back! It is part of the storyline. He led them away and won't return until you tell him it's OK! Ask Wheels for help with that as he can use the tracking device on Pelch once he KNOWS about it.
If anyone needs extra help they are going to come and find you. This way you should learn the ropes faster. If anyone has a problem you don't want to take public then mail me and we will iron out more details as we go along. Good Luck!

OOC: Pelch, "More background to help you along. Krass Damn It, I like that. you can handle it though. Fab is a bacterial spray used on most high class hotels and walls. It keeps astral mages and spirits out of certain areas. The initial cost for it is very expensive, but it maintains for a year before requiring renewal. Seattle air is not always kind to it. Our hideout has been treated with it, and it lasts longer here because our air down here is filtered through the building above us."
Widow glared at Mao. Mao was not good at handling such irrational confrontations. He was strongly tempted to tell her to put a sock in it! Suddenly one of the strange devices that Davik had handed to him beeped. Mao smiled to himself while keeping his face emotionless, and handed all the pass codes and devices to Widow. "Since I'm just a KID, I guess you better take these grandma." He turned and walked away.
Widow looked at the beeping device. It looked like a headset wired to some type of a little black box with ONE unmarked button!. She put it on and pressed the only button on the device. A cold emotionless voice spoke to her. "We need to talk. Don't ask questions. The device is one way. Go back to the parking area where your vehicle is parked. A courier will be there to guide you. Say nothing. Do it, NOW!" The line went dead.
Widow took off the device and glared at it. Should she do it? Was the call meant for Davik? What would happen if she showed up? Checking her weapon, she decided to at least go see. To bad Pelch was still missing. She could have sent him to see if he got fragged over before she risked herself. That idiot dwarf, he wasn't even useful as a diversion! She walked out to the parking area still seething and angry at the world. Waiting just outside the little room was an ORK on STEROIDS! He looked like Godzilla with those gleaming white tusks! Widow glared at him but he didn't seem to care.
The ork was dressed in an expensive business suit that flattered his muscular body and he wore Hi-Tech mirror shades with the same type of headset that she had just used. She just knew he was armed. To her mind and intuition this guy screamed 'LAW'. He looked at her quietly and in a rough raspy voice said, "If you hadn't run from the Lone Star escort that was sent to bring you to the meeting, we would not have had to do this the hard way. Guilty conscience?" He didn't wait for an answer but walked past her and into the small room.
Widow followed him in and he put a different card than one she normally used in the slot. It was a different color! She checked through the stuff Mao had given her and saw a card just like the one the ork had used. He watched her saying nothing as she put two and two together. The room rose quietly. So thought Widow this thing IS really an elevator! Put in one card and it opens a secret ramp down, put in another and it's an elevator to, where?
The ride stopped and the door opened in a rich looking mahogany appointed office. An elf nodded as she stepped out. The Ork did not follow as the door closed. "Welcome to Ace Tomato Company Ms. Djaquinn, who prefers to be known as Black Widow. You have come a long way from working Security in Britain and you certainly seem to have gone from bad to worse after that mess in Philly. Now you're doing some low key work for one Dom Haseltorn. After all those killings in your past, you seem to have taken a comfortable career and flushed it completely down the drekker." He stated pleasantly.
Widow glared. She was going to have some stiff questions for this fragger!

OOC: Pelch, "What's that old saying Boombaby? The more talent you show the more they expect you to do! Welcome to real life chummer. Now stop whining and get to documenting something you never fragging saw. Just think though here is a chance for you to use some creative imagination. It's good that you started with RESEARCH! You can thank me for the opportunity later, chummer. I got a meeting with a hot date and a smooth brandy, Ta!"

OOC:Pelch, "Yes! My avatar, a dwarf with a gun, but no animation. Rats!
SSSSShheeeesssshhhh!!!! Krondax, you said you wanted to be leader. We make you leader and you whine about it? Want some cheese with that?
No I cannot use IM: period. I know how to use it. I am not allowed to use it. Not even allowed to have an account. I won't go into why. If you have a problem we will move you around until you get stable again and you can post in the threads when you like. Just let us know if that is acceptable. You just let us know when you are stable.

OOC: Pelch, "Exactly! You learn by doing. NO ONE here expects perfection, it is how you respond in the crunch that counts. We are willing to give you the chance if you are willing to take it. Now I or Boombaby or even Mao could lead. From talking to him he has before. It's better though to give the ones that need it most the practice and you have more knowledge of SR than Mao does. He needs time to get his feet on the ground. Emyaj is also well qualified, but he has other obligations as well. "

She seethed within, but slowly let out a breath as she walked forwards to the desk. She raised her eyebrow in amusement as she saw a box of cigars and calmly plucked one out, drawing it under her nose. "Dont mind if I do" she said lightly as she pulled a cliper and a lighter combo out of a pocket. Odd, it looked like it was one that pelch had stolen from Dom..... A slicing noise was heard as she choped the end off and sat back in the chair at the desk, blowing on the cigar as she got it lit. "Cuban, not bad" she said as she blew the smoke out of her mouth.. "Good taste."
"I'm glad you approve" said the elf calmly, His head turned to look down at her as she placed her feet up.
"So, you seem to know all about me? Or at least you think you do. Now, Theres one little thing you got wrong." she said as she pulled her feet off of his desk and leaned forwards, "I dindt flush the carreer down the drain. My boss was. He was going to set me up to take the fall for him, which would have landed me behind bars and my life utterliy destroyed." Leaning back, she brought the cigar back to her mouth and took another drag from it, taasting its aroma. Exhaling, she continued. "At least I stayed out from behind bars. And am still alive, unlike him. Now, what I want to know is, how do you know so much about me, and managed to learn that i faked my death a week and a half ago, and just what is it that you want from me." she said taking another drag of the cigar.
She didnt like this one bit, but put on her best face. This elf knew way too much about her. Way too much. She had a feeling that he might have something to do with the next round of assassins comming to off her for not being a good little freak of nature and taking the fall for someone who she considered to be family. Not her fault that he forgot how she can be when someone gets on her bad side.....

The elf remained standing looking down at her. He smiled coldly, "Flushed, wasted, screwed the pooch, hosed up, fragged the animal, there were better ways to handle the situation. I know more than you think. The Boss who set you up was in the pay of one Dom Haseltorn." He watched as she suddenly focused on him.
He noted the startled look and nodded calmly. "You traced out all the mini-dudes and low level creeps and never even got close to the big guy. They didn't KNOW the big guy, so they couldn't tell you. You never had the ABILITY to get past the cutouts that a corp exec keeps between himself and the nasty deeds they pulled. Then that attempt on your life from an old business partner in Philly? That wasn't what it seemed either but it got you out here didn't it. Maybe your PAL, JOHNSON, GOOD BUDDY Haseltorn put you next to a assassin that no one would ever suspect. Like Pelch Gobwit the millionaire dwarf who is a whole lot more than he seems and appears to have connections with such people as Mayor Krass or Shyster Drassel. Now how do you think a dwarf like him could hire THE best lawyer in the UCAS in the first place? So, how does it feel to be shown up for the stooge you really are? You've been played like a harp from Hell, doing all Haseltorn's dirty work by eliminating people he wants gone so that connections vanish and he can't be brought to justice. Now here you are getting him ready to take the next BIG step into UCAS politics and AGAIN for the third time he has you cheerfully and stupidly eliminating his dirty laundry in his past so he'll be squeaky clean when he makes that run for Mayor while Krass goes after Governor Schultz's job. " He finished politely with a cold tight little smile.
Suddenly something clicked in Widow's memory, "YOU! You put out the news cast about Pelch. The ten year old one! Who the frag are you and how do you fit in all this?"
The elf smiled a thin sarcastic smile. "Took you long enough to ask that question. I might even answer some of it. The parts I think will serve my purpose the best. That broadcast was meant for Davik. He and you put it on Tony because as USUAL you both assumed. You didn't check, you didn't investigate. You even blamed the dwarf who had every reason to want to keep his past hid. WE almost died laughing at your stupidity."
Widow took her cigar and stubbed it out on the elf bastiages desk leaving a large burnt spot in the polished, expensive desk. The elf never batted an eye. "You fragger. Our hideout is bugged!"
The elf smiled, "Of course it is. You would have found out anyway, when Dom gets to you. He's over at Krass Drassel now kissing Krass's hoop. We have them bugged too. The problem is they KNOW it. They ain't telling us what we want to know. They were smart enough to leave the bug in place. It's pretty fragging useless now to us. You see we supplied the hideout and the equipment to Davik, as an old 'favor'. In intelligence circles you never tell field operatives EVERYTHING YOU know, that way if they get caught they can't spill it! Everything he has came through us. It told him what we wanted him to see and nothing more. We even do the maintenance and upgrades on it."
Widow, "So are you backing Tony?"
"No. Tony is nothing to us. Just another criminal with connections into the Haseltorn FAMILY. You see unlike you, he was smart enough to figure out when he was being fragged over by your old buddy Dom. Just like you though he wants a piece of the fragger! WE figure maybe you would like to help Tony get at Dom since you two seem to have so much in common." The elf smiled.
Widow sat thinking, the wheels in her head spinning as she dealt with her past and possible future. She really hated this smooth fragger of an elf. "You're lying." She stated flatly not believing it for a second.
"Right. I'm lying. So I might as well let you go. After all you might want to make your funeral arrangements. I don't THINK Haseltorn will want to take a chance that you might have gotten a clue THIS time. I suspect your slated to go with Tony when the time comes. So what's in your head, biff? You going to prove that your too stupid to live and leave now or you going to cut a new deal that might let you live long enoigh to get at those fraggers?" Widow glared but didn't move. She needed time to think. The elf smiled at her tightly as if he could care less.

OOC: Pelch, "OK we are back on track and have made some strong headway on the story line. I suggest EVERYONE check back in the story thread and make SURE you have the details down. We have taken the strategy up a notch and things will move faster from here."
I wonder what Johnson will make of the level of corp involvement in this one? How did the Joker put it, "Who you gonna trust, money money money, who you gonna trust? Me, I've taken off my mask, now lets see him take off his." I think Johnson is really going to dislike this elf as well. Will he turn Widow or not? That will be up to Widow. Is Pelch an assassin waiting for the right moment to 'arrange an accident' for Widow? What of Quicksilver the assassin as well? Backup on the job? Or is he waiting for the nod from Dom's other man, Pelch? What about HIS GOOD BUDDY Wheels who is also just on the scene? Backup for the Backup's three layers deep? So what does this elf REALLY want? I'll bet Widow would like to know.
