Still, gel rounds work just as well, if not better.

Sure, but don't yell if the 'Star break your door one morning with a warrant and a pair of 'cuffs....or the body's former friends.

since my main char (Four-Eyes) is in a run, I was just wonderin gif my other char (Old Man) can hang around the places in the UGR, since they both have diffrent agenda in the shadows, just wondering if I can RP a bit with my other char

yes... you can actually use as many characters as you want in the UGR... it kinda gives to be GMs the chance to see the character... you can have them interact with each other... whatever you want

quick question for y;'all. in the UGR, are the chars 3rd, or 4th gen (im going to make the assumption that your not using 2nd, which is good, even thoutgh its the only system that im familiar with really, but from what i have seen of 3rd, its almost the same, just a few changes)?

most are third, some are fourth. If it's 4th, its a good idea to label it as such. Most everyone here is still using 3rd and a few people are experimenting w 4th and getting familiar w it right now.

yep.. the primary right now for this site is 3rd edition... if you make a 4th edition just put some form of a note on it ( like the title topic can be "Duece Bigalo (4th edition)" the gamerooms will be labeled as to what edition its running

next question, al be it kinda odd, what are you allowing for vehicles? as in can we use modern cars but put them as expensivec? or only SR cars? (Had a great driver type char that used a 70's mjuscle car that i put the cost at being about 400.000 nuyen, it was a gift from his grandpa)

WEll you can have pretty kch all you want, it's the GM in the game you're wanting to join that's got the final word, for all I know you could have a Model T with booster rockets, but dunno if it's gonna pass.

basically thats it too.. I like riggers so I custom build ALL my characters cars.. I like to know whats under the hood of mine.. you can build your own or buy an SR car.. your imaginations the limit (ask Melinko about my 7.6 billion nuyen aircraft carrier with hover conversion and 100 flying drones ;D) the design here is to have no limits... When I build a shadowrunner.. I like him to have more knowledge points that whats allowed, perhaps more languages, maybe a bunch of disadvantages, limitations keep you from building the perfect character.. so you can basically make whatever (but keep it realistic.. like Alpha-ware type stuff, runners dont usually run around with too much (if any)of this..) the GM has the final say on a character... a prime example would be Daisy Duke theshadowrun.proboards7.com/index.cgi?board=subchar4&action=display&n=1&thread=1133640807the cyberware is obviously illegitimate, and in all reality hes what I call "too pumped" but a GM can have fun with a severly suped up traumatized character.. the more interesting your characters are... the more fun youll have in the campaigns

usually trolls that are 10ft and 885lbs tend to do anything they want
