Both of you see what appears to be a glow on the horizon towards the east. It appears to be slightly behind a hill off in the distance, but the exact distance is deceiving in the dark. It looks like it might be a long flight/walk.
Looking at each other with a look of trepidation, you begin the journey. It takes about half an hour to jog back down the highway and then off thru darkness climbing a couple fences and crossing 3 fields to where you can look down into a small ravine. Nestled in the ravine is the structure that Meg saw pictures of. It is about a quarter of a mile away, and the glow seems to be coming from the large fire that is consuming what appears to have been an auxillary building, perhaps a generator building or natural gas storage tank area. Regardless, the secondary building, a building measuring about 30' x 40' is well ablaze.
The main building is a larger structure, approximately 150'x200' in a compound that covers at least 4 acres. The high fence boardering the property is broken only by a large drive thru gate, adjacent to a small gatehouse. There is two tall towers, probably 25' high situated near the center of the yard near the front corners of what is left of the main building. The main building itself, looks like it has suffered a large explosion from inside. The South-east corner and approximately 1/3 of the building is spread outwards from the building in an explosive pattern. The main entrance no longer exists and plenty of the windows along the other sides of the building are broken from within. You don't see any movement or people...

Glacier, I'm going to call up some more help so we can move faster and keep better hidden - it wont stop a real good look, but should stop anyone immediately spotting us.
I will then send my own spirit form astral and have a quick zip around the site to look for guards and be back in two minutes. see ya soon

firstly tell the spirit to conceal both of their physical forms and help them move quicker
Megs head then falls forward as she becomes astral - and has a good look for signs of protecting spirits or magical protections on the site.
Once she's had a general view - Her intention is to then zip in to have a close look at the main areas in the site and for personnel.. and if this vehicle is easy to get to.

When Meg starts to fall forward I will catch her and hold her in my arms. I will then start to make my way closer to the compound. To about the 1/2 way point from where I am now.

Alright, the mist spirit comes and Glacier is slightly confused as Meg talks to the air, seemingly. Nothing seems to change around them as Meg directs the air to conceal them and make them move faster, but Glacier notices that his own movement is indeed faster as he moves into a closer position.
Meg, you close your eyes and visualize yourself moving up and out of your body and zooming off towards the building.
OOC I need to know Meg more specifically, where you are looking and in what order...there are 5 main areas of interest, the guard shack, the two towers (left tower and right tower for description purposes, the main building, and the on fire building...
Also, another set of perception tests please...

from her original position, Meg will first take an arial view - so she has a ground layout in mind,
Ignore the blazing building - if needs be we can check it out once we are inthe complex.
Dropping from hight to outside the guard shack, peer in through the window
zip across to tower left, check the top 'business end' then float down through the tower ..stairwell? down to the footings and any lower floors.
Then tower right the same
the main block is damaged - look into the undamaged (well less so ) side windows - if clear then go round to the destroyed side and peer in for signs of life.
She is there for a brief once-over when we are closer in we can search the main building properly.

Meg zooms up into the air and then zooms off towards the guard shack. Outside the shack is a dead body. It is still quite warm...A second body lies inside the shack. Both seem to have been shot. Moving towards the left tower you see movement, in the form of an LMG waving back and forth.
Zooming in thru the wall, you see the machine gun is afixed to what appears to be a mechanical arm and the arm appears to be remotely controlled. It has a 360 degree arc of fire and can shoot to within 20 feet of the base of the tower. There appears to be a locked trap door in the floor which you zoom thru and down a ladder. At the bottom of the ladder is a second trap door leading to a tunnel that seems to lead to the main building at an angle, perhaps hitting the main building external wall 1/3rd of the way from the front wall. This door is also locked with a large padlock.
Moving to the second tower, you find something similar.
The main building as I described is approximately 200 feet by 150 feet. There is a window about 6 feet up the side of the building every 15 feet. The windows measure about 2 feet by 4 feet high and the first several look into offices. (this means there is about 35 still intact windows. Do you wish to look into each of them?)

Meg is doing a brief recce and will zip back with a sitrep (situation report) of the immediate dangers - towers functioning - depends on how he wants to take it from here..
Meg gives him a rundown of the things she's seen as they quickly trot towards the site.
Its your show now Glacier I will follow your lead - the dark and the spirit should make it very difficult to pick us out, but they probably have recording equipment and thermal on the guns. The main building is an unknown, but theres a lot of damage.. once were inside the main building, the spirit will buzz off, but I could call another to search the place for us..
Do you think the LMGs have a range outside the compound?
I can look, but not touch when in astral, so cant open doors, but can spot from a distance..
I am also real slow, so I willcast a fly on me - do you think it would be useful for you as well ?
(OOC there is a timescale for astrally searching a place - I will try to dig it out!)

We are hard to see, and quick - going in through the gate might avoid any hidden surprises - Herei i'll fly myself an be able to keep up with you..

only just! but thats all thats needed! F3 no fatigue = move at F3 x magic 6 x spirit F3 = 54metres /round (around 60 kph) Glacier should be running at 45kph olympic 100m sprinter style!

Wait, wait, you guys are getting a bit ahead of yourself...
Meg, what does "brief recce" mean. It takes you about 4-5 minutes to look around the guard house, and two towers and first few windows and you have only looked into a few. I know that the travel time is not a factor, but its the sight thing. You are restricted to normal sight and hearing...It happens to take a bit of time to assertain that people are not moving, and to do all the other stuff that you want to look at. So, I need a bit more description other than "brief recce"...example, I fly thru all the outter rooms of the big building, or I spend 5 minutes looking or I look in 26 windows etc....
Next, given that 4-5 minutes have passed, you have another problem. That being that your body is not where you left it.

Meg checks the guard house the towers and zips round to the exploded side to peer into the main building's innards to get an idea of the layout . Each bit of these sections will take a few rounds to check out, especially if the lighting is off..
but trying to keep time to a minimum - leave the individual rooms of the main building for later... zip back to connect with my meat..

Stop, take stock of the situation - look out to the nearest wall area and towards the gatehouse Glacier has most probably moved in that direction in order to get stuck in. Astrally sensing will ignore the minimal light, Glacier is not trying to be seen - but he is big -- there should be a +3 for the spirit shrouding us ...a per. at 5s or 6s maybe?
It should not be too difficult to trace us down - It is also a good test of how well covered we actually are! Meg can see Glacier a lot easier than anyone else can (unless they are using astral sensing..) - as she knows that she doesnt take the darkness into account.
If she cannot immediatly spot Glacier, she will 'quater' the triangular area from original position, nearest wall, gatehouse - looking from low down on the ground to spot any big bumps...
