"Well, actually, I got one or two...This Mr. Lance, he got a contact number or LTG or anything like that? Or are you in contact with him? I'd sure like him to know that the cavalry is on the way. Also, since you describe the local toughs as bored farmers sons and what not, why all the need for such a big security team. Surely any one or two of us could handle this job. By my count, you are dishing out around 40 thousand nuyen for security. For that much, I am sure I could start a business...There must be some more that you are not telling us..."
In fact, Gunther had pretty much just done that actually, with his little sideline job of supplying street drugs to the gang he used to rent his doss off of. He kept up the payments to them in case he needed a hidey hole.

Jackson kept on puffing his cigarillo while Gunther talked, a small smile came across his face "Actually Mr. Gunther I'm 'dishing out' 10 000 nuyen for the security, you know, 2000 times 5 equals 10 000, not 40 000. As for why I hired the group, it's more for the numbers; a new place comes around, alot of kids and toughs would want to make it their hanging place..Only one or two of you would be good for regular security, but against groups after groups after groups of bored kids looking for a place to get drunk without their parents knowing, you will be quickly tired, which might effect your reaction time and judgment" He took a quick puff, exhaling the smoke up front "As for Mr. Lance he is expecting you today before 4 this after noon, he does have a little description of each of you, and he do have a phone, but unfortunately, I cannot give the LTG to you, because I do not have it, but I'm sure he'll be more than cooperative with you having his LTG, you'll just have to ask him when you arrive on location."

"Ah, apparently I was confused. I understood the job offer to be 2000 per day for four days. My mistake...I assume that you will provide us the location of the premises. Are we to provide our own mode of transportation to and from the site? By my watch, it looks to be getting on towards 1pm. If Mr. Lance is expecting us by 4 pm, then I would suggest that we wrap this up. Anyone else have any more questions?" Gunther turns to look at each of the runners around the table waiting for any last minute questions. The one known as The Seer, hadn't yet spoken and Gunther's gaze rested on him the longest...

Mr. Jackson's responses kept Erick's interest as the remainder of the group spoke up. This Q & A session had given the Shaman more insight to the ones he would be working with. He already had gained some good insight to Jorinda and was curious to see the Elf in action. And Erick's worries about Matt did not lessen even after the others chimed in. And his thoughts on the one with the tail had remained neutral. However the one who did impress him thus far was Gunther.
His brow arched slightly when the topic of payment is breached by Gunther. For a moment Erick's thoughts were the same. That was until Mr. Jackson corrected him. Though the nuyen would be lower than originally thought, it was still work. The comments regarding Mr. Lance did cause Erick to break his silence. "As for Mr. Lance, do we have a description or holo to go by then? So we know who we are meetin' with?"
After the recent events involving the drek called Knute, Erick was antsy about interacting with the unknown. Despite Mr. Jackson's down play regarding the severity of the trouble they could encounter, Erick did not want to chance it. Worse thing the group could do is to go in expecting pranks by the local yocals only to be greeted by urban warfare.

2,000 each, for four days work? Well, that sucked, but she'd already agreed to the gig. Jorinda gets up from her seat. "I got no questions, but I definitely need to go home and pack." And, she thinks, but doesn't say, change clothes. The dress definitely wasn't suited for a security guard.
"I think we ought to travel there together, regardless of who provides the transportation."

"Transportation could be arranged, if you're willing to wait for 10 minutes, a mini-bus will be available." Jackson looked at his watch "It is now 12:35 with traffic and a few stops, you should be there on time." He tipped his ash in his bowl, letting out a sigh as Seer talked for the first time. "He's a dwarf, red hair, he looks like a Scotsman but without the accent."

(OOC: Ok..Brute, if you had something to ask you can still ask me in this thread, but for advancement reasons, I'll go ahead)
"Any other questions?" Jackson looked at the group, and seeing that all were satisfied with the information, he stood up went to his briefcase, took 5 maglock cards for it and a small road Atlas, and put them on the table "Here are your maglock cards, they will grant you access to the store, do not loose them, I will need them back after your work is complete. I will also give you a road Atlas, the directions to the store is underlined in green, just like they do at the CAAA." He grin at his comment before turning to his briefcase and closed it. "The mini-bus should be waiting for you outside" He points to an emergency exit located at the far left corner of the room "From what my information told me, only Mr. Gunther here knows how to operate a vehicle without causing a path of destruction. I hope they were correct, because it's supposed to be adapted to be driven by a troll. " He took his briefcase, and using his Black Hand, adjusted his tie. "Well I must take my leave of you, I have a medical exam in 45 minutes. Good luck." He calmly exited the room, leaving you alone.
(ok, new thread comming right up)
