When the taxi arrives Quick gets in and heads to Sea Tac. On the way he sends Wheels a message to enter when he gets there and keep a low profile.
"The guy will stand out he should be all in black get a drink and wait till he and I talk then he leaves to come to me. If you see anything i have my come on won't be able to talk but will hear you. We will talk more afterwords."
When the taxi finally gets there Quick heads in and casually heads towards the back of dinner looking for Creep. When he sees him he goes over and sits across from him.
"Hello Mr. Creep I believe we have a mutual friend, would you like anther drink , on me of course?" Quick grins to Creep he gestures for a drink for them both to the waitress. After they arrive and she leaves he grabs the drink for him and subtly sides the credstick over to Creep within his napkin " I believe this should conclude the business part of our meeting. So on a off note what do ya think of this years Urban Brawl?"

Wheels arrived at Sea-Tac approximately 38 minutes after having first talked to Quicksilver. Good time... he thought to himself. Quick had told him to meet at a diner near the back of the airport. Sounded like he wanted him there for backup. Cepting, Bobby didn't usually carry a gun, so he didnt know what kind of back up he was going to be...Oh well...I guess a body is a body...
Bobby parked the car in the pay lot and made his way thru the airport. Not too many people checked him out as it was busy as all drek. Bobby wended his way thru the crowds muttering about the unfairness of the height of the world, and generally getting bumped and pushed around.
Finally arriving at the diner in question, Bobby takes a spot in a booth near the entrance. The place is super busy but the man that Quick had described was easy to spot. Heck, he was even facing the door. Bobby recognized Quick from his distinctive way that he nodded his head.
The waitress came by and he ordered a soy-cafe and a burger with fries. He knew it was soy, but, well, he could imagine that it was real. Besides, the last time he was here, the place had served up an alright meal. Not real food, but alright...Nice and greasy...
Glancing occasionally around as the waitress brought first his coffee, then his meal in relatively quick succession, Bobby saw Quick and the other gentleman converse briefly, then Quick shoved a napkin across to the stranger. They talk for a couple more minutes and then the strange man all in black gets up and leaves, leaving a briefcase under the table. Quicksilver sits there for a while, moving to the other seat so as to be able to observe the door, drinking his drink. Bobby was pretty sure that Quick saw him, but the elf played it cool, and didn't make a sign. Bobby took his time finishing his meal, and a couple minutes after he was done, Quicksilver got up and moved to the exit. Flagging down the waitress, Bobby tossed down a fiver and got up.
"Keep the change..."
Keeping pace but about 10 yards behind, Bobby follows Quicksilver away from the dinner, to a bank of public dataterms. Quick slides up to one and plugs in a single nuyen, before nodding to Bobby to join him at the next terminal.
"Well, what was that all about?" Wheels says out of the side of his mouth...
"Nothin, just some other business. Where are you parked?" Quick says without looking up from the screen.
"Second level of the parkade, section D7. Blue Chrysler Nissan. I'll be waiting..." Quick nods and Bobby gets up from the dataterm and makes his way down to the car. Quicksilver follows a couple minutes later, and climbs into the passenger seat. Bobby pays the three nuyen parking fee, and pulls back out onto the I-5.
"Head on down to the docks. I'll give you more exact directions as we get closer..." Quicksilver directs...

His Ares roadmaster pulled up to the busstop that he was standing at. There was no driver in sight but he made it clear to his contact that to be on the safe side that it'ld be best that she had some rigger that she trusted to work the car to its destination. He double-checked to make sure that he got everything he needed and loaded it up into the car. His next destination was going to be the crime scene. He wanted to take a look to see what clues were present. He was familiar with Lonestar tactics thus he would know that they'll probably clean the mess up or maybe even try to add things in to make it look like certain individuals were behind the crime. In the end though...it just might shed some light into the thick mess of darkness that is caused from all the heavy big wigs colliding into each other's way. It was as if a number of blackholes were in close promixity and in the middle of it all was a small planet named "belch"...

OOC: Pelch, "Welcome Boombaby/Wheels everyone. He inserted well and is working well with Quicksilver. Looks like they had absolutely no problem with the meet and have the device. Guys? You are both free to manuever to the trucks.
Mao, your post confused me a bit. I left you at the Hideout and you had already been to the site of the shootings. Did I miss something or did you have something special to check?
Krondax, you said you were thinking more security on the bike. What did you have in mind? I'll be posting shortly but I'll give some time before I do.

After they head down towards Pier-62 Quicksilver opens the briefcase to be sure they got what they paid for. Then turns towards Wheels.
"You seen one of these before?"
Wheels looks over in the briefcase "Sure I have."
Quick grins "Good you gonna have to plant it on one of the trucks at the pier. I got to talk to a couple of the drivers there once we get there I will be goin inside the warehouse when I bring the drivers in the office you need to put it on one of the trucks quick as ya can without it being obvious."
That being set Quick closes the briefcase and put between Wheels and himself.

Interlude:
Davik is studying the latest news casts to see what the current affairs are on the 'Great Pelch Hunt'. Suddenly with no warning, Zelda does Zurich Orbital was pre-empted by a serious talking head issuing an announcement.
The feared witch Katie Couric (aka The Dark Lady), Mistress of the Dark Forces and Lord of All Shadows, has sent terrified shock-waves through the entertainment industry as rumors fly of an imminent takeover of the onetime bastion of light, the UCAS Evening News.
"By all that's good and holy, I never thought it would come to this," said emeritus Lord of Light Pastor Luddington, who bore the mantle of Righteousness for decades before he could no longer keep the impending storm-clouds at bay. "Much that is great and good in that citadel could wither at the Dark Lady's touch. Verily, I do not know how much longer the warriors of truth can keep the Beacon alight. She is a far worse affliction than the soul killing Gorthan Destroyer of Life!"
Couric has gradually enslaved millions with her insidious morning show on UCAS Today and by the time anyone realized what was happening, she had grown too powerful to stop. For years she has openly flaunted her dominion over the shadows, cackling with glee as she shifted from heartwarming stories to warming hearts on a skewer over an open fire.
"She laid a glamor upon our vision, and long was it before the scales fell from our eyes! Too late! Too late!" whispered a terrified Howard Stern, a former UCAS executive who spoke anonymously. Stern, who is hiding from Couric's legions of flying monkeys in the basement at 378 Alhambra Lane, in Lincoln, Nebraska, 68503, was once one of the Dark Lady's minions, in the early days before she openly wove the clouds of mystic despair that today are the harbingers of her every utterance. "She devours five souls a day for breakfast, with whole milk and raisins! Please don't tell her I faked my own death to escape her employ!"
"We fear her because she has strange and mighty powers. We dare not disobey."! stated Rush Limbaugh fearfully who over the years has proven to have no small amount of power to control vast armies of mind numbed followers of his own. "She inflicts the GREAT Demons of Stupidity on all who dare to oppose her and even on those who dare to aid her in her fell schemes. I fear her more than any other member of the liberal press or Demoncratic Demagogues such as Mayor Krass who inflict countless woe upon our thriving business community and political matrix!"
Mayor Krass has vowed to take immediate action on the issue. In a personal KONG exclusive Mayor Krass made the following statement, "What this situation requires is A REALLY BIG BOMB. We need a fellow with a delicate touch. One who can blow out a candle without denting a candle holder. I have already appealed to Governor Schultz and she assures me that the UCAS military will waste no effort to provide us with a special operative to rid the world of this horrible menace!"
At that very moment Davik's secret comm. unit was activated. He stared for only moments at the device and then slowly picked it up. The voice on the other end was cold, emotionless and hollow sounding. "We need to put a stop to The Dark Lady's nefarious plan to take over the communication channels of Seattle. Your commission in the UCAS Military Special Ops Branch has been reactivated and your current assignment investigating the highly criminal activities of one Dom Haseltorn and his ongoing connections with Krass/Drassel is hereby terminated. Your current hideout will again be turned over to Ace Tomato Company representatives and you will return to your original hideout in Redmond ZONE Z for further instructions. We have already turned in your resignation to Haseltorn and you need waste no time. Good Luck on your new assignment. The WORLD is counting on you!"
Davik turned and put the device away. He walked quietly up to Mao and handed him the keys and pass-codes to the hideout. "I've been called away suddenly on urgent business. Seeing as you are the only one here I am leaving you in charge. I most likely won't be returning. Don't ask questions because I can't answer them. Good Luck on taking down Tony." With that Davik turned away, mounted his motorcycle and left heading towards the Redmond Barrens on a mission to save the world.
Meanwhile Mao was confused. He looked blankly at the passcodes and keys wondering what he should do. He thought a moment and then decided that since Davik had been watching the news, maybe he should look as well to see if he could get a clue as to what was happening that was so bad that the dwarf would just walk away from a run. It was not long when again Zelda does Zurich Orbital was interrupted and the Kong call sign and motto appeared 'If it BLEEDS it LEADS!' He watched with avid interest the newscast repeat the same details. Now they were down two runners, he thought with a sigh. Pelch was missing, Davik was obviously responding to a crisis that had something to do with his past. Widow was not there. Quicksilver was not there. Mao had no idea where they were. Should he go out or should he remain just in case? He looked at the phone in his hand. Wasn't this the contact phone for their control?

OOC: Pelch, "How about ten G's and some karma for each of us, Boss. If we GOTS to prove you innocent (which is like saying that Krass never jumped the bones of any woman in the Plex, then we would really like you to show some real GRATITUDE for this Rainbow Family Service (Interlude: snicker, snuck it in Krondax, Widow will be so P.O.'d, although she might be at the mall getting my rainbow armor and a horned helmet. Mustn't underestimate the elf biff. Interlude over) working our hoops so hard to to keep you from being associated with that criminally nasty Krass Krew, the very dregs of depravity and vice that no honest citizen would touch with full fumigation gear and cattle prods set at the highest level. Now take Boombaby for instance. Him and Quicksilver been doing a BANG ON job of getting that truck ready to find old Tony lately and poor Mao? Well he's running back and forth like a chicken with no head and needs a calming steadying influence that only money and a whiff of karma could bring to his shattered hardworking soul. We need to give him that sense that he did something besides LOSE his FRAGGING PARTNER. Widow is doing that OH SO important lady like thing of spending money. Surely you need to step up to the FRAGGING PLATE and support her habit. As for me? I been slammed at least twice in this very scenario. Here I am a Lone Solitary beaten down, old honest as the day is long Dwarf with stinky feet and worn socks out in the cold hard night, being hunted for my hide, standing strong against the very forces of cold, dark, nasty, nauseating, revolting, mind numbing EVIL itself. Surely I should not be overlooked when your offering to ease my pain at the loss of our beloved Davik? What of poor Davik? Alas I knew him well. A dwarf of infinite jest and humor, that has gone off to rid the world of that Witch Katie 'The Perky One' Couric before she can unleash and undo the reputation of the Seattle PRESS and hose up your latest smuggling operation, which we all know doesn't exist."
Turns to the other runners, "Well Guys I tried to get us some reward out of this here skinflint."
Pick answer depending on outcome:
1.) "Great Job, Pelch! That's looking after your chummers! We got the reward! Boy are we going to find you and save your hoop now! That Johnson is the GREATEST! HOWRAH! HOWRAH! HOWRAH!"
2.) "BOO, Pelch, you were for Drek! We didn't get even noticed. You really suck at this! PTHHHHHT! PTHHHHHHT! PTHHHHHHHHHHTTTTTT!"
3.) "I'm Mao and I plan to say nothing at all and hope that if Johnson is P.O.'d, he won't include me and if I get the reward I'll just act happy. Sound of One hand clapping! TOOP! TOOP! TOOP!"

OOC: o_0 I'm confused...I was just going to the site...I haven't been to the site yet.... and now I'm supposedly back at the hangout...? My best guess would be to post that I went to the site and roll to see if i find any clues than continue to post "catchup" to the point that I made it back to the hideout (somehow without being noticed or followed...which is why my character was in a hotel and not in the hideout in teh first place...). I think we need to sort out Mao's "continuity" problem first...once that is done I can continue with my "pursuits" towards trying to save Belch...

(ok, now i am totally lost and all im getting is a tracking device)
Pulling up to Xtreme's shop, she parked once again infront of the doors. She shut down the bike and sat there for a few moments, letting out a sigh before removing her helmet and dsmounting the bike. Walking up to the door, she reached out and pulled on the handle with a jerk. nothing. She tried again, and it budged a little, but was stopped by the lock bar.
"Drek" she said as she checked the time. It was 11 am, and he was not there. Looking at the door, she read the phone number and memorized it. She woudl give it a call when she got back to the base she decided as she climbed back onto her bike and fired it up. Reaching to the handle bars, she put her helmet back on and looked around, seeing a lonestar Cruiser sitting on the corner of the intersection.
"Hrmmm" she thought to herself. "maybe someone has finally taken offense to my driving. Better take it cool". With that, she pulled out slowly, keeping an eye on the cruiser as it pulled out and followed her. After two blocks, she knew that they were after her. "drek drek drek drek drek." Cueing her comm in her helmet she radioed to Davik. "Davik, This is widow, I have some problems here and im going to need help."
The response that she got had shocked her. "Widow, this is The Wild Man of Borneo..... we have a situation here. Davik's gone."
"Ok?" she said back. so he had left, what of it.
"He gave me the keys and said he might not be back."
Now that did confuse her. Right then she noticed red and blue flashing lights in her mirror. "FRAG! hold on kid, I'll be there in a few minutes."
"Dont call me kid" Mao said slightly defiantly.
"Look, Kid, two things." she said, hoping he could hear her over the bike's engine as she gunned it and made a hard right turn infront of traffic and then made another before the cruiser coudl get aorund the block. "First, The Wild Man from Borneo is too logn to say. espeically when you have lone star on your ass." Banking the bike, she made a hard left.. Horns honked as she did it. "SEcondly, If i was human, i woudl be old enough to be your mother!" she said as she twisted the throttle wide open. After a few blocks, she didnt see the cruiser any more, and hoped that she lost them.... for now.
"Why is lonestar after you?"
"How the hell do I know., I'll be there in a couple minutes." she said before shutting off the comm. Puling up to the tunnel entereance, she looked around to make sure that lonestar wasnt present before going up to the guards and waiving her pass.
She parked her bike and lept off, walking in a fast pace to the door, undoing the straps to her hemlet in the process. The first thing she did when she saw mao was look him in the eye. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN LEFT!" she screamed, taking him off guard.
"Dont yell at me." he started to say till he looked at her, and thought that he could see pools of flame where her eyes should have been. Swallowing, he changed his mind on what he was going to say. "He just gave me the keys and said that im in charge since i was the only one here. he told me not to ask because he couldnt answer. And then I saw this on the news" he said as he turned and walked to the main room, showing her what was on the trid. The same news bulliten.
"Great...just great" she said as she now tried to figure out what to do.

OOC: Pelch, "Let's unconfuse the issue."
Mao, Did you read this thread? I posted it on page 5 of our thread originally, but copied it below so you won't have to page back. It was posted in our thread line 23 April which predates your thread picking up your vehicle, hence, the confusion chummer. You can see it if you go back through the pages. You must have missed it. It happens, don't let it get you down. It's an easy fix. You can read it now, then read about when you got the keys at the lair. Then make your next moves. Looks like you need to respond to Widow at this point. You can go back and delete the other later post you made about getting your vehicle amd after that about visiting the crime scene, you already did it in this thread.
Mao watched as a slate gray Ares Road master Heavy Van arrived at the Jackal's lantern. He quietly paid the driver, 100 NuYen for the delivery and went to the vehicle. First he drove to the scene of the crime, but it had already been checked, witnesses questioned, pictures taken and suspects rousted. It was opened again to the public. He didn't learn much there just looking around. He would probably have to see a Lone Star report to get anything useful. Mao had two ways to do that, he could try to use a contact in the Star itself or he could get his decker to make a run. It would take some serious thought. Mao chose to drive southeast on Denny Way checking out the grid map being displayed that showed a map of Seattle. He had to admit, Pelch's directions were pretty accurate. By following his grid map and staying on the main roads he had no problems relocating Davik's Place on the map and marking it. As he cruised south down I-5 towards Davik's Hideout he wondered where the heck his partner had gotten to. Mao took the 5th Avenue 165 west exit off of I5 and moved Northbound up 5th Avenue one block past Columbia St, took a quick right down Marion ST and half a block later was moving northward on Z street. Located in the Northeast corner of the Block was labeled a modest 30 story building with the words 'ACE TOMATO COMPANY' in bold and well worn gold letters on a black background. Mao had no idea what the heck it was that this company did, he just suspected that it was more than it seemed. He had good reason for the suspicion. He pulled into the entryway to the underground parking garage that most buildings in this area seemed to have. What was unusual was that it was not an automated entry. It appeared to be a very simplistic and effective manual entry!
A heavily armored sec guard with a M-4 assualt rifle stood outside the closed and shuttered door of heavy trans plastic at least 7 inches thick. When Mao pulled his vehicle in another door just like it closed down behind him. The car was sprayed with a foam solution. Mao had no idea what it did. His car was automatically and THROUGHLY SCRUBBED. The front door didn't open, yet. Both doors were obviously strong enough to stop any normal round with no scratch.
Mao rolled down his window and handed the guard the pass that Davik had given each of them. The guard placed it into a handheld sec device and looked closely at Mao's face. Mao just knew his picture was being taken and compared and he suspected his truck was being scanned for explosives and other harmful devices as well. He felt magic being used but dared not investigate it. No telling what might happen if he did and the guard looked like the type that had no sense of humor at all. After several moments, the guard nodded and stepped back. The INNER door was then opened by a second guard inside that door. Even as the last of the foam was evaporating, Mao pulled inside and that inner door went down again behind him and then the outer door was reopened. He drove carefully and slowly to the back parking lot where two more heavily armed and armored guards waited in front of a heavily and obviously, locked like a vault, 3 inch thick metal door. The yellow and black banner above it in large black letters on white background proclaimed; President and Vice President parking ONLY! Intruders will be eliminated! Corporate Defense License number 729518 filed with Lone Star Security, Seattle. One humorless guard examined Mao's pass while the other watched carefully his hand on a dead man switch. After examining the pass with two separate devices the Guard nodded and saluted while his partner with obvious relief opened the door. Mao drove into this area and the door closed behind him. The sound of heavy locks was audible clicking shut. Mao parked in a spot that said; 'Vice President (Visitor) Welcome to Ace Tomato Co.' He noticed that Widow's bike was gone from her spot but Davik's was still there. He carefully parked and locked his car and moved into a small elevator like room in the back. It was unmarked with no buttons or controls. He put his pass in the unmarked and only slot on the wall and the floor gently angled downward from the back wall with small steps appearing in the floor, allowing him to walk down the ramp and into the tunnel. After a short walk he was back in Davik's lair.
As for Widow, it looks like Quicksilver and Boombaby 'rearranged' the meet for the equipment. Run fast, but check out the post above to be aware of some of the new security in our hideout.
"A notice for Quicksilver and Wheels, watch out for those Yak guards on the truck, better not leave Wheels alone to do the install! They won't know him unless you intro him first! Wheels with the tracker is the tracker console. You might want to get with Mao when you get in and install that part in his Van."
"Message to all. We need a leader. We still need a group name. We need to review what needs to be done and the strategy. I'll wait a bit, not too long though, before posting again, just in case you want to get something in."

Do I know what that is? Hah... Bobby laughs to himself. Its only a Shiawase Protrac Boomerang 2. It's only a top of the line GPS tracking system with what? A 25 km range. Its only, as far as I know, available to Shiawase surveilance teams. Bobby mentally whistles as he realizes that Quick, and therefore Dom have more resources at their disposal than he had originally thought. Not a huge surprise to the dwarf who'd been around the block once or twice, but still. Buddy would kill for a look at this hardware.
The hardware itself consisted of a small disk, about 20mm across, and about 10mm deep. A small digital readout showed its current status (off), and a small extendable antenae ejected from the side. Bobby knew that the back was a powerful magnet that activated off the electronic motor inside. The battery was powered by motion, and so could potentially remain active for years, as long as whatever it was attached to, move every couple of days. The receiver device was significantly more complicated. It was capable of receiving on at least 26 different frequencies, could bounce signals off of at least 3 satelites that Bobby knew of, and probably some others that Buddy could name as well. It could pinpoint a transmitter, such as the puck, to within 0.1 meters. It naturally came with complete aerial, topographic and GPS maps for most of North America, and the other continents were available for a small fee...Oh yes, Bobby knew about this device. Even his fingers started to twitch, just thinking about using this beauty...
The drive down to the docks didnt take that long from Sea-Tac, and Quick directed Bobby down to Pier 22. The Pier itself extend approximately 220 meters out into the water, and was occupied principally by a large warehouse. Getting to the warehouse proved to be a slight problem however, as there was an 8' chainlink fence with a guard shack. Pulling up to the guard shack, Wheels lowered his window half way to see a young Japanese fellow with a dark turtleneck sweater, dark courdoury jeans, and sneakers, step out of the shack towards the car. The Uzi III seemed out of place on the young man, whom Wheels wouldn't have said was more than 18. But you never can tell with these Orientals...
The youth looked into the car thru Bobby's half open window and snorted when he saw the dwarf. Then, looking across to the passenger side, noticed the quiet Elf. Quicksilver had turned on that "Don't frag with me..." aura and stared the boy down.
"Sorry sir, wasn't expecting you for another 33 minutes..." Quicksilver nodded curtly and waved a hand, and the youth stepped back to his booth and pressed a button. The gate slowly slid to one side as Bobby tunelessly hummed something and winked at the guard. The guard looked startled, and Bobby drove on thru.
"On the left there, third overhead door. Pull up beside the man door there..."
Parking as directed, Wheels slides in close to the wall. Shifting to park, Wheels turned of the engine and turned to the case. Pocketing the small disk, then tucking the rest of the case onto the back seat under a blanket, Bobby turns back to Quick."So, whats my story? I'm a new driver? I am here to be your body guard? Something like that? How the drek am I supposed to get this on the truck? What kind of trucks are they anyways? And how many are there? This baby will let us track them from a long ways away, so, I wanna make sure that its not found..."
