theyre up to no good out here - a squad in the hydro works - GRAV tankettes waiting in quiet mode upriver certainly sounds like an ambush - if they wanted us the team would be scouting the camp not the hydro plant - so its got something to do with that..
They are kitted out too anti IR gear thats expensive kit - Rainbows would use spirits or smoke.
Me an Benny can get the students bedded down here in the reeds the IR wont track us once we are out of sight - even if they have drone spotters and mages in astral theyve still got to be able to see us to draw a bead
the team of three with me - Bishop N05 an Henri - head back at the trot It will take you five- they said something about fifteen minutes . take you a lot quicker with some spirit aid.. give them a boost spirit, astral plane take the strain..
The whole team is pulling out of the site - just far enough into cover - dont pull any heroics folks
What would your unit tactics say to do if you encounter something unexpected just before you are about to pull a job? They cant spend hours searching the reeds
sticking in two long 'crocodile' lines hand in hand the students slip into the cold water and begin pushing into the reedbeds you look at their IR sigs - blocked of by a few metres of reed and cold water they are soon out of sight - Meg reassures them over their comms channell..
Benny has an idea
Miss Meg - I think I know why they have control of the hydro station...
The mist spirit will help you along to the campsite very quickly
in five minutes you can all be settled in positions you want.. just as the first two GRAVs drive their way up the slope into the main camp - rear doors open up and four teams of four head out to cover while the turrets track the buildings IR beams playing over the site - it takes two minutes for them to check the cabins and the lodge..
a couple of pairs of hightened hearing amplifiers pick up some chatter..
Lodge is clear - dozen billetts all cold - cabins zzsssdirt two zzzcent occupassss currently checking ss motor pound bus truck sszz pickups
