(OOC Hi there I'm glad to have found out we moved before the other site goes down and I have no idea where to look for my shadowrun addiction. Does this mean we know have an in house dice roller again YA. Me so happy ;D )
Micro was thinking of taking out the watchers first since they will most likely be on a mission to tell the others what is happening but I'm going to scrape that since taking down the Mages is more important to our survival.
Let me know in this area where I am to post Micro's action.

i'm thinking Bishop can take out a good few of those 16 troopers with 2 flashbangs, and pick off the rest if he's having a lucky day.
gonna see how many i can take with a surprise and then, if it comes to it, smoke and get the hell out of there

I thougth making them go on the dam...in the open, the pick'em off one by one when you'll be out of range of thei SMGs..even those who managed to cross, they'll have me. 'course I beteer boobytrap the door wiht a grenade some tape and a somewhat heavy object like a chair.

Open sights huh..well I can hit the target at 100-120 meters open sight..army trains at what, 400 meters?..just a question of getting them pinned down..Meg and the kids at in the woods hidingt..so far from any line o' sight and bullet trajectory..once those GRAVs get blown off by the fighter jets, they'll be stuck alone..surrendeing will be a good option for them I'd reckon.

Hi folks - I am off on a short hol for a few days - back Monday.. gives Crimson D time to fix the pooter and Bishop time to waste the trooper... F-E will be tangled with the assault team for a while.. I cannot imagine they will let anyone out of their sight untill the whole area is cleared.. they may restrict communicatins too.. The apology for any rough treatment may come later -

Spirits.. from an earlier post...
had a swift browse - nothing on shaping their own element - but I dont see why not.. you would have to have a spirit force that represented the size of the thing you were attempting to shape..
It must be do-able as the Ghost Dance did something akin to this.. calling up the spirit of mother earth and affecting mountains...
Through rituals you can pool your power in order to summon enormous spirits - if you are flamin lucky !
You get stories of the underworlders making glorious objects out of precious goodies.. so why not have spirits affecting somthing within their realm with ease.. put a mechanic onto it.. like drop the item's object resistance by the spirit force .. so an earth elemental could soften grainte to be as malleable as clay... together with a fire elly they could sculpt metals
the mechanics as they stand are geared up for combat - why not have them making shoes or carrying buckets of water.. much nicer!
It would be expensive, hard and lucky to get a big spirit to work for you.. size 6 is achievable (1:6) 12 can be done (1:36) 18 is tough (1:200) but conjourers do have a go.. (a treble 6 needed) 24 is around (1:1200) 30+ is 1:8000ish - a life's work and that depends on their magik score being half the spirit force... magik of 15 and an 8000 to 1 shot ! bit much. - or the stuff of legend!
immediatly there is a limit on just the odds involved Daniel Howling C isnt going to trust to luck - there will be every shaman he can get his message across to, and a lot of heavy spirit influencing offerings and the like.. it looks like a force 20 ish spirit would be most appropiate - very high but not out of reach of a circle of say 100 shamen..
and they did it a couple of times.. so force 20 must be very influential within it's domains and achievable but only where there is a lot of help, else the corps would be doing it all the time.
compare something like this to the skills ratings (SR 9Cool which go up to skill level 8 - world class, with a skill of 10 being ledgendary.
yes - it is just numbers plucked from the air - but someting should make an acceptable sense.
the damage was done by the effects produced, and not embodied spirits.. eruptions and tornadoes rather than manifested magma-beasts or djinn. still leads me to think that F20 would be a world class spirit, summoning something that could do anything within it's domain.

elemental summoning for little things could be done at home - a jacuzzifull of water - switch off the smoke detectors and fill the place with incense etc.. but for big elementals you will need big element resources.. a really big bonfire, a lake, an aircraft-hangar full of smoke or some pristine earth. The cost involved will cover the consumable resources along with bribes and payments for use of a quiet area - or the trouble to find something appropriate.
those initiates could explore the astral
sammies looking for a doc and some 'ware - you will need to float in a nice safe tank for a while...
so what are you thinking of using some downtime for?
Once the unpacking is completed the students get straight into more alchemy stuff - looks pretty laborious and there are quite a few complaints from them quickly put down by Meg explaining that it is all part of the process and they would have to teach their own apprentices the same so stop whinging and get on with it.
She realises that they will need to blow off steam soon - a detox health spa for a day to clean out months of living under plas - then clubbing untill the early hours ought to get it out of their system.. anyone got a good venue in mind?
