Peaches looks around at the assembled runners.
"Look here chummers. I got an offer for ya. It seems to me dat around here, dere's never any solidarity to our runnin' teams. We come to'getter, do da run, and 'den split in oppostie directions.
"But why? Why not get a good group togetter and 'den stay dat way? Dat's what I want to do, and dat's why I'm talkin' wid' you now. I got a few people in da group already. I'm da muscle, FourEyes is da quickdraw, and Angel over dere is da spellslinger. My squeeze Sugar offered her deckin' services, but if dere's any udder jack-heads out dere, she'll bow out.
"Here's what we need to round out da group:
Mage or Adept Rigger (most important) Decker
"Once da group is formed, we'll have to wait a bit for da members to get done wid' deir respective runs, but once dat happens, I'll be negotiating a new contract wid' a contact of mine. Everyone in da group gets an even cut of da loot--but full partners recieve an equal portion of da risk.
"But what is so different about 'dis 'dat wasn't da same wid' da udder way we was doin' 'tings? Well, after da run is 'trough, we'll stay toge'tter for da next one--solidarity and all dat drek. so what do you say? Anyone interested?"
(OOC: this would be 3rd edition, in case anyone is wondering.)

"You know chummer, that is the best idea I have heard lately..." The short stocky dwarf says from one side. "My fixer, Mr. Caudill, spoke highly of you Peaches. Said you were 'Old School' and any runner could learn lots from ya. My name's Bobby but you can call me 'Wheels'. If it rolls, hovers or flies, I can probably handle it and fix'er up after any tussles we get into afterwards. If you need references, I can provide them too...I got a little something going on in the background but that dont take too much of my time...Whaddaya say? Got room for a 'stunty'?" Wheels chuckles at his self-depreciating joke.
"I got a couple questions though..." Wheels turns serious. "I notice from you list that you don't include a leader type of any sort. You planning on filling in on that roll too? Or we going to have us one of them there democracies? Also, I am guessing that you are going to try and cover some other bases with our other people. Things like negotiating contracts and the like? I am a darned good scrounger, but I can't negotiate myself outta a wet paper bag.
The chinese street vendors near where my doss is, positively light up when I come around looking for take-out. I swear on my mother's red hair, I know they are chargin me way to much for soy-noodles, but heck if I can get a better deal outta them. Who's gonna handle that kind of stuff?
Another thing. What if someone in the group hears of a job? We gonna be loyal to only one fixer? Or one Johnson? I personally have two guys I do steady work for either directly, or for associates of theirs. They might not be too happy if I suddenly turn Arctic."

"As far as a leader, I figgered I would be da defacto one in dat regard--not to say it's a dictatorship or any'ting. We'll all have an equal say, I just figgered dat, since I brought us all togetter, I'd be da front man. I've got some decent negotiation and etiquette skills--not da best, but if anyone has better, 'dey'd tag along to da meets and all dat stuff. As far as contracts go, we'll take 'em from whoever we can get 'em. We ain't loyal to no Johnson. In my experience, da only people you can rely on in dis biz are your team mates, and dat's who we should be loyal to--each udder."
Peaches looks at both Emy and Wheels. "But if you guys are up for it, welcome to da team."

"Alright Peaches, since you were the one that came up with the idea of getting a regular group together and seem to have some skills in the matter, I for one, will follow your leadership for the time being. And since, your, and thereby our intentions are not to alienate any or all potential employers, I guess I am in too." Wheels pauses thoughtfully.
"I think maybe we should find ourselves a doss, or something from which to base ourselves. Not to mention that we should all get aquainted and make sure we can communicate with each other. I prefer Microcomms for on the job action, but phones are good all the rest of the time."

So we're forming a team then? I'd recommend we set up a regular place to meet, or maybe even invest some cred in a place. Microcomms are good, too. As far as a leader goes, it was Peaches' idea, and he's got the smarts and the experience, so why not let him lead?

" 'tanks for da vote of confidence," he says a bit sarcastically. "But anyway, you all are right about da doss. I mean, we all got our own places, I'm sure, but it would be nice to have a central safehouse to operate from--we could all chip in and get it, use it to store gear and whatnot, to plan, all that junk. We'd need a pretty decent sec-system, 'dough. Is anyone good at settin' 'dem 'tings up?"

"Okay Peaches, you are the defacto leader. Here is my 3000 nuyen to get things started on finding a place. I am a rigger by trade, but I have a friend. He is a technician. He knows about security and such. I get him to come by after we find a likely haunt. A'ight?" Wheels plunks a certified cred stick on the table near Peaches' hand. "Well, maybe a little more than 3k on there, but whatever..." When Peaches looks on the stick, it shows 3286 nuyen...

Peaches slides the credstick back across the table at the dwarf. "Nah, hold onto your cred for now. I'll talk to some folks and get some price quotes. Den we'll talk about who needs to chip in how much."
(OOC: I'll find a GM to run it by to see if we can get this set up.)
"But dat brings up anudder 'ting. Dere's all kindsa stuff we could do differently for da group. I mean, we could designate a portion of each pay check goes to a group fund where we spend money on da safe house, rides, and udder services for runs. Say, like, 25 or 20% of da money we get on a run goes to da fund--pays for rent, fees for information, bribes, that kinda stuff. Or, we could just do it da old fashioned way and split it right down da middle. I just want to know what you guys 'tink."
