*For Cakes*
Tiny takes a long pull from his pint. "Take it easy, mate. They've just moved inta the back a minute or so ago. Don't go rushin in, though. There's a fella name of Johnson in there, looks new to the biz, might get a bit jumpy. Boss tole me that they was gonna do some kinda trust excercise while they hammer out the details, and he was sittin in for security. The J's got some other fella with him as well, looks like security. A norm, but real slick-like. Wouldn't wanna go burstin in with that crowd. I'll buzz the boss and let him know your here. Finish your beer, mate.
Suiting his actions to his words, Tiny sinks the remainder of his pint and janders back to the bar. He flicks on a little telecom screen next to the sink and speaks into it in a low tone.
*For the rest*
The Johnson looks expectantly at Frog, then at one of the empty stools, before picking up his cards and organising them, flipping a chip into the pot for the ante.
"The job is a fairlt straightforward one, gentlemen. We have a line on a shipment of cutting edge cranial deck parts. This is next generation stuff; more compact, so less invasive, but with more processing power as well. Needless to say, my employers would like to have a little look at these products."
"The shipment is arriving by road, coming into Seattle overland, and being delivered to a distribution facility in Tacoma. My associate Mr Burke has a chip containing its proposed route and schedule, and it should pass right near Pullyap."
He looks at Skidds, sitting to the left of the dealer.
"Your bet."

" Job sounds interesting . Any idea on the security this truck is going to have ? " Throwing in 3 blue chips wonder if that's a lot .
" Also I'd like to know on the time for there backup ? Always nice to know how much time we have to haul hoop." finaly taking a look at his cards .

Mr Johnson stares intently at his cards.
"Security will be reasonably light; it would appear that they were trying not to attract too much attention. My sources indicate that there will be some magical security element, as well as two or three guards on-board the truck. There has been no indication of any other back-up in the immediate vicinity... and as far as we are aware, Lone Star has not been informed of the shipment."
O'Toole grunts.
"Yeah, that place bin leakin like a seive jus' lately. I ain't surprised the corps didn't ask 'em fer security. It'd be like askin a gang to guard the dang thing."

Studying his cards for a moment before matching Skidds' bet.
"Sounds pretty simple, smash and grab. However, do you possess any information of the arcane elements of the security?"

The Johnson clears his throat before continuing.
"The information we have indicates simply that there will be one magical asset attached to the team for the purposes of security, but does not state what form the asset may take. This is why I chose to recruit you for this operation. I am no mage; magical threats are part of your end of the operation."
The Johnson also throws in 3 blue chips.
"We're not sure what the truck may be masquerading as. We have the registration tags for the vehicle, so you should have no trouble identifying it, so long as you can get close to it. We have the proposed route. We also have diagrams and part numbers for the tech we wish you to aquire. All this information is contained in the briefing on the chip, which my associate Mr. Burke will hand over upon completion of our negotiations.
Burke steps forward slightly, hand moving slowly into his coat. He pulls out a chip case, and tosses it onto the growing pile of chips in the middle of the felt.
It's one nights work, gentlemen, moderate security, requiring no entry into any corporate territory. My employers feel that 3000 apiece, plus whatever else you care to 'liberate' from the truck, should be sufficient.
He places 2 cards face down and slides them toward O'Toole. "If you are concerned with security, I am authorised to hire an extra body... I believe Mr. O'Toole has on tap a local runner..."
O'Toole pitches in.
"Yeah, boy name 'o Surprise. Aint had much work since he lost his ole pardner, but word says he's a good man in a firefight. I can give 'im a call, iffn' ya'll r inrested..."
A small telecom in the corner beeps. O'Toole has a brief conversation with Tiny, and turns back.
"Looks Like your fourth is ere. Tiny's bringin 'im in."

Tiny motions you to follow, then heads out toward the back room.

"Transport will of course be up to you to arrange, as will delivery of the goods in question to a location detailed in the brief."
The Johnson places his cards face down on the table, moving his hands under the surface of the table to smooth imaginary creases from his suit pants.

He slides three cards forward, keeping two.
"If all they bring is one arcane element and light security otherwise, I can manage." As he speaks, a thin smile stretches across his face.

I follow tiny to the back room. Checking my appearance and any weaposns I;m allowed to keep as I do so. (Carrying predator w/three clips and cougar for info Shasta) ------- They see a guy in his late twenties. Dressed completely in black. His Coat is black except for silver flames on it. A disfigured head is visible on the shirt through the open from on the long coat. A slight smile is on his face as he enters the room. He waits to be noticed before speaking.

"I am prepared to advance you 1000 a piece of the full fee to cover your expenses. Do we have a deal, gentlemen?"
Mr Johnson again smooths the legs of his suit pants.

O'Toole blows out a ring of cigar smoke, adding to the general smoggy atmosphere, and deals out the replacement cards.
"Some of your other boys here seem a trifle skittish. Iff'n any of 'em pull out, you just let me know, and I'll line up some extras to take their places."
