"I suggest that we go to Hamble's place via the high road staying on the ridglines till we get neer to his place so that just in case we can get the drop on anybody or anything that might try to ambush us on the way there, and i also reccomend that we stay in groups since we already know where we are headed. If we need to split up into groups we can do that at Hamble's place if we need to. Now does anybody have any question of me before we start off?"
[ooc: i do have the skills Wilderness Survival and Navigation]

No problems in the wilderness then! You could navigate quite easily and understand the terrain - you should get the jump on anyone because you are now familiarised with the area - you choose the best route.
Looks like your'e off to Hamples place - small group of buildings - timber frame, plas-flats rooves from what some of the guys remember, couple of dogs, noone else at the place. Like most, he could turn his hand to a lot of trades.
you got the destination - any thoughts on how to get there, - fast or in bulk..?

in bulk at a brisk pace but on alert, moving along the high points of the terrain

Gimme a result guys - Four-Eyes has the keys that fit... tell me if there is there a need for speed? or for numbers, to look at some semi-dead geezers house......or the onset of a landgrab..
and why your choice?
Hunter - your Per test will indicate two big wolves crossed the trail - you know wolves are fast, knock people over , then worry them - rough translation is go for the throat if they are attacking. Most people are immediatly afraid of wolves because of their rep -- makes them do stupid things like try to outrun the critters -- climb a tree is a good idea, as wolves cant climb.
Your truck has a Sat-transmit (modern CB sattelite comms) - so does this truck - last transmit is logged into the unit - you could give em a call if you wanted to alert whoever is on the end of the line......
Folks - youve been running through the forest at night avoiding crap on the ground - keep this up and youll be knackered in an hour... think of it as a forced march - youll get there but will not be in the best of physical condition.
Next step is t determine if you want to track the truck - or just bale over to the homestead.....
You have lots of trackers, or the truck - going back to the campsitesite will take up more time.. are you constrained by time ? Cacka - so many options

"Let's grab the truck and roll over 'there, 'don't wanna walk, I'll drive, we have a map and a vehicle, let's jump-in grab a couple o'folks and let's get goin'." Four-Eyes will spot the recorded transmission channel, memorizing it for later "Anybody here knows how to get to Hamples' place fast?" He was asking the orks from the mob "We could also use a rifle or two on that, 'check it out, then drive back here to greet the cops." He pulled out a smoke and lit it up, still feeling un-easy about getting...cops...in this mess.

The enging growls into life - alchahol burning engine - bit louder than youre used to, you have eight on board - one guiding the driver along the dirt trail in this dark night - good idea to use beam but not full beam in case it alerts anyone keeping a lookout... and you decide on stopping with a half mile to go before Hamble's house, and then rolling in real quiet-like... the directions you are given are clear and informative
Four-Eyes is a fine driver - you are just trying to stick to the track - not racing against time..
The comms unit rasps into life it's the warden
Got an ID on Willie Jesser from City hall in the Smoke - works for a Renraku subsiduary - I called them, he's been on an adventure holiday since the beginning of the week with his wife. Hire car into the mountains.

"Ok Warden, we'll keep an eye open for a woman then, and a rented car too. We just came near Hample's place, we'll call if somethin's been seen."
Four-Eyes got out of the truck, and went fro his pack of smokes, but stopped and decided to get some gum instead, mostly to not be spotted from afar, in case there's somebody 's waiting at Hample's shack. He took 2 pieces, but realized he picked from the gum pack he found on one of the orks "Aaaw hell, 'hope this won't turn me into one of those zombie-ghoul-thing, this ought to be hard to explain when I'll head back home"

Leaps out of the bed of the truck and takes a quick look around, bringing the gun semi up into a quick ready position. (holding it infront of him but angled down, so allhe has to do is snap it up and aquire the target. ) He also fires up his smart link with the rifle and places his thumb near the saftey toggle switch.

They tell you the house is around the bend up ahead - then off to the side - ten minutes quiet walk through the trees (again)
John looks at the terrain - Zooming in an looking hard can just make out the shacks - four buildings - house worksheds barn garage?
Theres a strange smell in the air, meaty, acidic
Using your bins you can just make out - theres a light on in the house - curtains drawn
Should we shoot on sight? Or go in quiet? One of us can back up each of you. So how do you want to go in? From what I remember there is no fencing around the yard- trees stop, and then theres some scrub. house at the front sheds at the rear surrounding a yard. Lights on in the house but we'd have to get closer to use thermal - but form what youve said, that's not much use. Surround the place? or all sweep in from one side ? We could just march up to the front door.. or wait and observe, the others will be here within the hour...
