(first, i forgot to do initive. which is 6 + [dice=6][dice=6])
"What the fraggin hell!" he shouts as an orc gets up and he takes aim for the nearest one's head as its still on the ground
(throwing in combat pool as well and the pistol does have smart link on it) [dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6] [dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6]
rule of 6 [dice=6][dice=6] rule of 6 [dice=6]
(uuuh, i think with a 17, that might be kinda bloody for a head shot with a .500 shot. lol. nasty)[rand=8292513159763918744374209439883262925119966296169870782750345877]

Hamble's head is jerked by that close impact from Hunter.. there is a lot of mess in the pine needles, and your boots, and your long coat, allover mostly - but he doesnt twitch much now
john leaps into the fray, but I am sorry that the poor light and the moving orc all add up to your getting in his way - trying for the wolf bite to the back of his neck is too adventurous.. you are in his way so he drops his shoulder, ducks the bite and comes up with a gut cutter on you instead of Four -Eyes.. There is a small Sigh* from Four-Eyes, whoh unluckily fluffed it this time, but you luckily got in the way!
Woodsman's blade to your gut John as his reply to the nibble you attempted..
[dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6]
the last orc has stood up - quickly looks around for his rifle - and pulls his blade and rips the cover off a flashpakon his chest..
SSStIiiNNggK SttNneeKkk SSttiIikkkK
Aiee my eyes! the strobe after-image sizzles into your retinas for this forthcoming round - all attacks are conducted with the brilliant strobe-image further obscuring your view (6+4=10s !) John should be OK, and so should the orc! (thanks a bundle..)
End of this round you have Hunter and Fryer still to go Fryer is still close and has an action held - you can react before the pack goes off, or see the flashes obscure your vision for the rest of this round - Hunter has a second action available - you could use it to shake your head an clear your eyes..or fire at 6+4.. Flashpaks work on you for a round (either this one or next for you two, your choice..)[rand=13349959329397836327125562343932091093424130030089830097586560332]

the blade-slashes cut into Johns coat an through to the shirt, then scrapes off your torso - not that you were worried by the blade, and you are in close with the guy -- grief! he reeks!
Hunter an Fryer to finish off this round.. then initiatives and statements... you could even roll your attacks.. the two of them look like they are going to try to get in close and cut you up, well, try to anyway...

"AAAHHH! THE LIGHT! IT BUUURNS" As the flash pack goes off, Four-Eyes will step backward a few, trying to get his vision back to normal.
(OOC: I'll keep my actions back, in just in case) Init (if needed) reaction 5+[dice=6][rand=099074522054356183771624813095124726335745221929723349669312870017]

Fryer lets off another pound from behind his favourite tree the slug missed the orcs ear by six inch and hits his shoulder instead... as he is reaching for the flashpak... the impact staggers him, but he is able to set off the pak...
Hunter is using the end of this round to clear his head of the flash, so he will be fine next round...
Four-Eyes has his eyeballs cleaned from the inside by the frantic dazzle, and will be readjusting your eyesight for the first turn this coming round - you know youll be OK because John has just tucked into the guy in front of you..!
John unleashes all of the close combat options you have for your second action - there is a flurry of block, cut , slice bite duck and second bloc that goes astray.. the orc turns the blades away (or was it just sooo hard to land a solid blow in this cursed darkness..?) but the bite rips into a fleshy neck muscle applying the 8M most painfully AAAwwwW
He and John are still slicing it out - he holds his neck in obvious pain.. Hey John, you expected the taste of blood an muscle, all you got is sinew and a stale flavour..
This new round, his massive initiative is
[dice =6] + 2
and if he is still standing, will attempt to cut John, good...
Blade [dice =6][dice =6][dice =6][dice =6][dice =6][dice =6][dice =6] no dodge..
The other runs for Hunter who is closest
Init [dice =6] + 2
if he gets there
blade [dice =6][dice =6][dice =6][dice =6][dice =6][dice =6]
(OOC - watch out for multiple strikes..or shots, you have to trade off more hits going in against a worse TN for each extra set of strikes - first blade would go in at standard, second blade at +2, bite at +4, fine if your base attack is 6, coz you need lucky hits to land ANY blow)

Fryer dashes from the darkness, tumbling into the neck-wounded orc - who's expression of anger changes to a last gasp when his chest suddenly reveals both of Fryers spurs ... Fryer dops the shattered body to the floor -
One orc remains - about to lumber at Hunter, I cannot imagine that he can survive against all four of you - so along with any intentions for this round, can you outline what you want to do next ... there are (or will be ) three bodies and one live guy who is beginning to recover - you vaguely recognise him as one of the bikers who passed the bus on the way up here.
(OOC too much dice ? what do you think storyline or mechanics?)
