OOC: I'm back. Hope everyone had a nice holiday. It's a little hard to get on the computer while I'm taking my little cousins from out of town sight seeing and them taking over the guestroom with the computer in it, but I'll post as best as I can. Anyhow, we're back on the road.
The truck driver speeds away as fast as the truck can manage while talking with Tiny. Who I am ain't so important. What I'm going tell you in a moment is. Can you get in contact with your buddies while I drive and talk? If not, I hope you take good notes. The long and the short of it is that I've got a job proposition for you. Now, I'm supposed to take you and your buddies out of this dump safely whether you accept or not, so you don't got to worry about that. You dig?
Not waiting for an answer, he goes on. Now, my bosses boss, the head honcho that is, is also innerested in the kid with the fancy doo-hicky on his head, and he's willin to pay a lot of money for 'em. Hell, I could probably pay off all my alimony that I owe my wives for a few months with that money, but it ain't me he's offerin the money to, you dig? He said you should have all the info from the other Johnson you just met. Now, I don't know any details as to what he's talkin about, so I can't answer any questions. I'm jus tellin you what he told me to tell you. I don't ask no questions and he pays me good, you dig? If you accept, I'm supposed to tell my boss that you'll work for him and he'll contact y'all with the exact amount, as soon as he finds out how much they offered you. And believe you me, it won't be for some chump change neither. You dig?

"Man where is this Semi taking us." Tank thinks as he turns on the radio in his Truck, "Oh the classics." As Jim Hendrix, Watch Tower comes belting out of his Radio.
Not sure of where his is going Tank decides to leave his Spell Locked into the Foci for the time being just incase this turns ugly fast.
(OOC I don't know if anyone came with me in the Pill Box I got but If you did let me know I think Glacier was with me. As Tiny took the Ride in the Semi.)

Can't get ahold of 'em right now, mate. I'll take your offer to the boys, and then get back to you. Best I can do.
Jesus H Christ. First job and I'm already being asked to double-cross the boss. Things sure do move fast in this line of work, Tiny thinks, as he tries to keep his facial expression under control. His thoughts are whirring furiously, trying to figure out how to present this offer to his colleagues in such a way as to suit their level of loyalty to a new boss.
Trouble is, he thought,I don't know drek about my new "buddies" yet.
Listen, we just arranged a meet at a bar to discuss the job. I'll give them your offer there. Tiny gives the man the name of a bar about six blocks from the Beaver, where he'd been turned down for bar work.
I may be new at this, but there's no way I'm puttin this guy together with the team before I know what they want to do...

Hey, whatever floats your boat. An' here's a number where you can reach the man when you and your budies are ready, ya hear? The trucker reaches into his shirt pocket and takes out a business-sized card with the numbers. It'll work only once, so make sure you got everything together before you call.
The rest of the ride goes smothly, and the only noise heard throughout the trip was the explosion and the sound of sirens passing by in the far distance. After a few more minutes, he pulls into an abandoned truck station.
Well, this is your stop. I took all the backroads, but we were lucky the Lonestars and the Knights didn't bother to block them. You can get back on the main road if you go down that road for a bit, and then you're on your own as to where you go. Hope you break a leg chummer, ya hear?
OOC: Hope everyone had a happy new year!

(OOC I don't know if anyone came with me in the Pill Box I got but If you did let me know I think Glacier was with me. As Tiny took the Ride in the Semi.) ((Yers I'm with Tank in his "Pillbox")) Looking around at the various belongings in the conveyance, I shudder to think that one could call this home. I mean who would want to be tied down to one scenery everyday. <shudder> " When we go after Little Boy, may I leave my Great Lady here? She would not be a good companion for us if she were to spout off and kill something during our recreations. The Voice was very specific about no killing. I will still bring Corp Adjuster as he makes a very persuasive silencer when he is presented in the right light."

"That sounds good to me Glacier. My problem is I don't have any combat spells to stun anyone it is all used to drop them for good. I can still use astral projection to get an idea of what we are going to be walking into." Tank says, as he trys to think up a plan to get the kid without killing anyone.
"Oh man I don't trust that semi guy, but atleast he knows how to drive savely without getting seen by Lone Star I got to give him that."
Tank pulls up behind the Semi as it makes it's last stop and watches as Tiny gets out of the semi. Then waits to see what happens next.

Tiny rolls back up to the pillbox, knocking (softly) on the side door, dropping his spell as he does so.
Yo, fellas, you ain't gonna believe this one, he calls as he waits to be let in. Upon entering the vehicle, he hushes his voice somewhat. We been on this job, what, 20 minutes now? I already got a counter-offer for the kid and his fancy helmet.
He proceeds to relate the story to the other trog and the halfer, handing the halfer the LTG number.
Lets get to the Beaver. I could use a drink.
