cats are definately the easiest. I'm fond of reptiles and rodents and the like too, but we always have a cat or 2 wandering around.

unless you get a devil cat like my neighbor. you dont dare leave yoru hand lying over the edge of the couch, or it will attack.
i went for other. Mogwai all the way. just, dont feed them after midnight.........trust me bad things happen. thigns that are worse when my pet xenomorph escaped

Geez Svecica, if their neutered, lazy, house dogs what fun is that? Try something a little more lively. But then I've heard little kitty's are scared of those kind.

I look at the long term...the obedient house dogs are more useful in the long run....however fun the lively ones may be short term. =P

I always preferred kitty cats myself. They take care of themselves a bit more and you can generally always pick them up once they're full grown.
Now as for voting first in a poll you yourself create, I don't entirely agree. It's better to let someone else vote first rather than unduly influence it. There is something sort of fun about creating or breaking a tie, like I just did by voting for cats.
