Lance sights as Xenomarch made is comment "Were you even listening? I want no dead, no bodies, no coroner, no nothing..even hiding the bodies won't be useful, since this is a small community, everybody knows everybody..somebody's not in the fields one morning, people will notice, began talking, looking around..so sorry to rain on your parade, but keep it clean and dead less, please."
Gunther seemed to be lost in thoughts for a second before stepping up
"Alright Mr. Lance. Since you require us to look normal, a couple of us don't quite fit the bill. Belle and I will have to head back to greater Seattle to pick up some stuff. In the mean time, you can give the boys here the nickel tour, and hook us up with where we are going to be staying and all of that. Belle, you are with me. We should be back in about 3-4 hours. Rest up you two, you got the first watch. You guys got my number right?...Need anything?"
Lance looked Belle over with a raised eyebrow before looking back a Gunther with a question look on his face"Ok...ok... I see no problem Mr. Liebold..You'll be staying at the Coloniales Hotel, it's the one at the end of the street cornering the Main. I'll be staying there too, so you can just come me, room 204, or just call me when you're in town."
After Gunther left, followed by Belle, Lance turned to Seer and Xenomarch "Very well then, let me give you the tour" He guides you to the counter lying in the middle of the store "You see the small corridor at the left? The bathrooms are there, 2 rooms, a sink, and toilet, nothing fancy." He then leads you back store.
The back store easily makes half the building, roughly the bricked section of the building. entering from the center, all the left side is filled by big freezer for the soy ice-cream leaving but a small corridor in the middle, large enough to open a freezer door without knocking another one. You can easily pass in the small corridor, but somebody bigger, like a troll, could have some difficulty.
Facing the door you came in from the front of the store lies a metal door with a panic bar. Near it, there's a fire alarm switch and an empty rack, possibly for a fire extinguisher. An emergency lighting system s right over the rack, almost touching the ceiling.
The right sided part of the back store is smaller, roughly a quarter of the building length is 'open', only a counter fills up the back wall of the building, the other half is walled up, with only a metal door with a mag lock reader besides it.
"Here's the command post like I like to call it hahaha" Lance took a maglock key card from his pocket and activated the reader, a clicking sound is heard before he reached for the handle and opened the door.
The room is small, the thick wall eats up space quite rapidly, at your left, you see a small table with 3 monitor on it showing you the point of view of the cameras: one at the back of the building, showing the exterior, one in the front, showing you the streets, main door and the parking lot, and another one, showing you the front store. A normal sized wooden chair sits in front of the table. At your right, there's a camp bed with an open sleeping bag on it, a chair sit besides it, with an alarm clock and a small portable trid unit on it.
"Yeah, don't mind the mess: Ed's been sleeping here for a week now, he won't say nothing, but he' 's sure is happy about sleeping at the hotel soon.."

Jorinda considers the possibility. "Well, he is staying at the same hotel we are, which means he's like us, an outsider. A runner laying low? Not outside the realm of possibility, and a win-win for Lance and Jackson if that’s the case. But if he's a runner, why didn't Jackson bother to tell us"
When Gunther tells her about Ed, Jorinda contemplates the fact. It explained a fair amount about him, like why he was taller than most of the elves she met, and why he touched her hand the way he did.
"You got that right." She replied.
Jorinda ponders the question a moment, and comes up with an answer. After all, she didn't exactly worry about that sort of thing regularly. "I think there is a variety store that sells troll clothing." She offers. "Hang a left at that Stuffer Shack." She says, and hangs on tight as she anticipates the sharp turn. She then gives him directions to the store.

"Lance. I will ask this once and it is very importantthat you think before you answer and that you do not take it personally. It is this: Why does a Soy-Cream Shoppe need a Shadow Crew?" I will "Observe in Detail" his response.[rand=3311031873595931932019362694430261242430871807078879931756975261]

Despite what the rune stone offered, Erick was able to re-focus his attention on the task at hand. From what it was sounding, Erick would have little issues blending into the crowd as the others would garner most of the attention. Something that could be useful if some of the local yocals decided to act up.
Discourage from the physical restraints being placed on their reaction to any kind of threat, Erick declined the offer from Gunther of anything else they could need. Watching the pair depart their company, Erick turned back to follow the Dwarf and Xenomarch. Towards the end of the five cent tour, Erick made sure to pay attention to the dead areas of the store and security system. From his days with Winter Systems he had learned to spot the flaws and where extra attention would be needed.
When Xenomarch spoke up, Erick's head tilted turning to face the dwarf. He was curious to see what the response would be.

Lance raised an eyebrow, looking baffled by the question "I don't know, I didn't hire you, I told Jackson about maybe having some security here, but why he hired some shadow runners, I don't know, I guess you'll have to ask him that next time you see him."
[whisper=Xenomarch,Braddoc]looking with all your high-tech gizmos, you don't spot anything different, except a slight body temperature increase when you got all serious and asked your question, after that, he seems to 'cool down' so to speak. his eyes appears relaxed, while he answered, a quick change for the baffled look he gave you when the question dropped. His tone is constant, a bit authoritative,, his breathing regular.. Either he' lying like a pro, or he's telling the truth. And in the distance (the front store) you could hear Ed chewing away his meal, humming a song you never heard..or don't rememeber..[/whisper]

Jorinda successfully navigates them to the variety store. She lets go of the door handle she'd been clinging to for dear life and gets out carefully. She looks at the mannequins and notes that there is one that is troll sized. Lucky for her, they scored on the first stop.
People passing by on the street are looking at the pair as they head into the store. She wasn't too bothered by it, but she had to admit, she and Gunther made for a strange couple. She reminds herself that they weren't in Seattle anymore.
"Okay, so looks like they can hook you up, Gunth." Jorinda says as she opens the door, keeping her eyes on the view from outside. She turns as the young sales clerk heads toward them on an intercept course.
"Can I help you?" She asks.
Jorinda flashes the young woman a thousand watt smile. "Yeah, we need to buy some clothes. Think you can help us out?"
The woman runs to the back, and the manager, an older woman appears, holding not a weapon, but a fabric tape measure. "So what do you need?" She asks.
"Something presentable." Jorinda replies. "White shirt, black slacks." She looks at Guther to see if he wanted anything else.
While the woman waits for an answer, she starts to measure Gunther to better assess the size he wore. Jorinda watches the scene. "So after this, can we stop at a cyber cafe? I need access to a comp to do some research. Or we can just high tail it to Seattle and I'll hit my comp when we get back to my place."

One suit of fine clothing (fit for a troll) comes to 625 Nuyen. The manager will have it ready in 2 days.

(Well northing's happening, so I'll fast forward things then)
7:00 Pm, Coloniales Hotel.
After getting your things together, Lance lead you to the Hotel, where you were given your rooms, all on the second floor. Room 202 for Jorinda, room 203 For Gunther, and both Seer and Xenomarch shares room 204, Lance himself is staying in room 201.
After your complementary supper (full of soy goodness, but, surprisingly, with fresh vegetables as side-dish), Lance joins you in the small dining room/bar area, about 20'X30', a few round tables each with 5 to 6 chairs each, seemingly new red carpet covers the floor, a nice carved wooden bar, with behind it a human male, nicely dressed in white shirt, black pants and vest, around maybe 30, 35, but his face seems to have seem lots, from close he seems 10 years older. Behind him, a long mirror, a few shelves with many alcohol bottles, all nicely lined. to the far left, behind the bar,a brown door, leading to the kitchen. Right of the bar lies the access to the main hotel lobby.
The dining room/bar is almost empty, the only other people inside is a middle-aged couple, around 40, a well dressed man Caucasian man with some European traits, he's drinking some liquor in a small glass, and a sharply-dressed Asian woman roughly the same age, drinking something from a cup, maybe soytea or soycaf. They are accompanied by 2 young boys, maybe around 8 or 9, each drinking a milkshake. The family seems to know the bartender, as they are exchanging words, laughter and so on, in what appears to be German, or Russian...well some eastern European language.
[whisper=gunther]It's German, you can recognize the language..They seems to be small talking, about the area, Blackstone's Museum and Zoo of the Paranormal, and some sight-seeing places. you also catch the bartender's name, Otto, and that the well dressed man is a doctor.[/whisper]
Lance sat down at your table, nodding to you while doing so. " 'Evening. Ok, I"ve managed to convince Ed to stay at the store tonight, so he can help you if need be." He took 2 keys from his pocket and put them on the table. "One's for the front door, the other one for the back door, Ed got a copy of them, but don't loose them anyways, I don't want to spend the 5 Nuyen to get copies again...Not all of you are required to be on guard tonight, but if you want I won' stop you. I'll be at the store at 7 tomorrow morning, if anything happens, I gave my number to Mr. Leibold, so he can pass it to you. "
Lance then looked at you over "So who will be guarding tonight?"
[whisper=Xenomarch,Braddoc]You get a phone call "Baby monkey, this is Yorgi. I found a rigger, some human named Blicks, He will rendez-vous at your location at 0800 hours tomorrow, he is informed of your description and he's instructed to only address you. I have also taken some liberties, and snooped around for info on your OZ. Policlub activity is high, only equaled to the meta raids on the human population. Tread lightly Baby monkey, this is a boiler ready to explode at every stand-off. Need anything, you know how to get to me. Keep on tailin' Baby monkey. Yorgi out." [/whisper]

Jorinda takes note of her room and then joins the others for dinner. She is pleased that the vegetables are actually fresh, and not cooked into a tasteless oblivion. As Lance joins them, she nods politely to their employer, but continues to eat while she studies him, wondering exactly what sort of reversal of fortune brought him to these circumstances, working for someone else when he'd owned a chain of stuffer shacks? She was too polite to ask.
So Ed had volunteered to stay at the store tonight? Probably not the best idea to stay with him alone. She watches Lance set down the keys and then looks to the others. "So who's got first watch?" Jorinda asks.

[whisper=Braddoc]I will shamelessly listen in on the conversation to the exclusion of whats going on at my table, even going so far as to wink at the youngest of the two children.[/whisper]
"Hunh? Oh, what? Sure. I got dis..." Gunther scoops up the keys and before anyone can say anything, he stands up and heads to the door. As he passes the other table he seems to say something that comes out in a low rumble.
[whisper=Braddoc]"Have a good evening Doctor. Otto..."[/whisper]

"I'll take night watch as I am better suited for that. Also, for those of us that aren't Human, beware Humanis. Seems they're heavy hear abouts and this may be why we're here. May. Also I sub-contracted a Rigger who will be here tomorrow, name's Blicks. He'll be helping with surveillance only. I'll be paying him from my cut so don't sweat his sudden involement vs our over all pay." I will then follow Gunther out of the room. "Hey Gunther I'll keep you company tonight."
[whisper=Braddoc]To Yorgi: Copy that. Drekkin Humanis gives Humans a bad name.[/whisper]

Jorinda looks in surprise as Gunther just gets up and takes the keys. He hadn't seemed to have been paying attention to anything Lance was saying, but instead looking in the direction of the bar. Looking at the children. If she didn't know better, she might think Gunther was considering eating the pair. Fortunately, she knew Troll habits, and in particular, Gunther a lot better than that.
Well, that settled it. If he was going to watch the bar, she was going to talk to the bartender and try to coax some info out of the guy. She looks at Lance. "Mr. Liebold's taking first watch." She replies, trying to make it look like she had expected Gunther's sudden departure. "One of us will be relieving him later."
Jorinda will wait for Lance to leave, hoping he was satisfied with her answer, and only then will she excuse herself from the table.

The food was edible though Erick did not enjoy the subtle taste of it, not enough spices. But it did the trick, making the man feel more at ease after the meal. When Lance questioned the group to see who would start the first shift, before Erick had made so of a move in his seat before Gunther stepped up and took the burden, along with his roommate.
Glancing to the men as they headed off towards the exit, then his empty glass. A trip to the bar remained a mere thought as Jorinda spoke up. "Yeah, I am goin' to catch a couple of hours of rest then head down there before dawn." A small smile cracked his lips when he turned towards the Elf. "That is if ya can be ready then."

[whisper=Xenomarch,Braddoc]"Hey, thanks Xeno. I was thinking I would handle it myself, but I am glad of your company... Gunther saunters towards the Icecream parlor and the two walk in amiable silence for a few steps. "Hey, how did you know Ed was a poser anyways?"[/whisper]
