"Must be some big place if you're bringin in this much heat, Mr. Jackson. What sort of problems can we expect and who or what exactly are we protecting? As you can tell, several of us have worked together in the past and since we are here today, that speaks to our ability to get the job done, or at least to survive, which is good on any day. Xenomarch here, has indicated a willingness to lend his skills to this venture as have Jorinda and the Seer over there. I would not be here were my needs not pressing as well. That just leaves you Mr. Rix..."
All eyes turn to Matt as he chugs back another glass of ph acceptable water to help wash down the delicious stew. Stammering slightly, he looks up and has the decency to blush...

As if on cue, Jorinda's eyes turn to Matt. Well, was he going? And did they really want him to go along? As she recalled, he wasn't all that reliable in Cali. Then again, she didn't do a whole lot either, as being framed for murder tended to shift your priorities.

[ooc: Jorinda takes note of the pair of security guards. Either their break was over, or something was up. "Look, if you're waiting for us, then let's get going. Otherwise, I got a cat at home that needs to be fed in less than two hours." She lies. ((Mr. Johnsons campaign, thought it'd be a nice add-in))] Matt smiles at his new tea. He pulls out a small silver vial and pinches something inside the vial. He pulls his hand out of the vial and sprinkles whatever it was into his tea. He sips the tea and seems even happier. "Will it be possible to work on my new formula while I'm there? I've been constructing a new anti-serum serum. It's for people who wish to immunize themselves from the effects of cold medicine or any hypoallergenic formulas. I hate it when I go to the hospital with a cold and they give me something for it. Can there be any altercations to the environment while we're there? I have some highly explosive foam I could outline the doors with. Oh wait... what am I thinking? I apologize for my craziness... it's highly explosive SOAP I have... but I suppose if I ran my hands under water and rubbed vigorously...

Jorinda watches Matt drink the tea and whatever drug was in the vial. He was high on something, that was for sure. An anti-serum serum? Why would you go to the hospital for a cold anyway?
She looks at the others. Do we really need him to come with us? Is the unspoken question on her mind.

Erick's back stiffens in the otherwise comfortable chair when he hears Matt's discussion on hospitals and exploding soap. Since his prior experience with the man did not help his reaction, Erick offers a curious glance to the others in the room, including Mr. Jackson.
Erick was unsure if Matt was just eccentric or perhaps he did ingest too many man made chemicals to help alter his charming personality. If it was the latter, the man would be a weak link in the group. And it could cost them nuyen or even their lives.
Despite the options, a hint of a smirk started to show. Maybe this was the entertainment for the night Erick thought. "Don't ya think it could wait?" Erick asked, "Though what about making a toxic toothpaste? One that can knock someone out. That could be useful." There was a small glimmer of amusement in his eyes as he held his actions in check for the most part.

Jorinda hears the Seer's response to Matt. She looks over to the Seer and hopes that he wasn't serious about his remarks. Studying his expression, though, she could tell that he wasn't serious. So she decides to join him.
"Why stop at toothpaste or soap? How about a shampoo that makes your hair water repellant? That would be pretty useful in Seattle, where it rains all the time."

Gunther can't help but grin as the some of the group begins to chide the scientist. Friendly ribbing was health for the most part but at the same time, they WERE in a meeting with a Johnson.
"Look ah, Mr. Rix. If you are going to come along with us, perhaps its best if you hold off on your experimentation. We can all see the applications that you are working on..." Gunther lied carefully, as perhaps he was one of the only ones who kinda understood what Matt was talking about. Gunther's experience was more in the lines of industrial chemistry, but he understood enough to recognize a pharmacutical expert when he heard one. Though, why Gunther didn't recognize the man from within the industry was a bit of a mystery. Perhaps its cause I went to school in Germany, and he is a local...
Shrugging, Gunther continued. "It just seems to me that while that research IS important, we are here at Mr. Jackson's behest to perform a job for him. For the amount of money he is paying, I figure the least we could do is give him our undivided attention for the duration of the employment period. Whaddaya say Mr. Rix?"

Jorinda shrugs. Gunther had a point. They were on the Johnson's time, so they should be a touch more professional. But Rix didn't make it easy. "So how about a straight answer, Mr. Rix?"
She smiles at Rix, but secretly hopes that he says no.

"Of course I can give you a straight answer. I'm not sure toxic toothpaste would be a good idea. I mean really, what flavor would you make it? I will hold off on my experiments if you think it is detrimental. I am delighted to see that you are a thought-provoked troll. It has been my experience that most trolls want nothing more than to get reduced tailored deltaware or bio-ware."
Matt looks around, suddenly realizing that the group is staring at him.
"What? Do you want some Acesulfame-K? I enjoy it in my tea. Sugar is a rare commodity and I can manufacture this at my lab. I began making it when the techs over at Shiawase were complaining about their soy-cafe. They tipped me 50 cash for it." Matt looks semi-content about the confused looks about the groups faces. His semi-smile turned into a serious stare.
"I can see you're all eager and gung-ho about taking this job. I would like to assist you as well, for I am between jobs at the moment and am horrifically bored. I should let you know I am not prone to using firearms. Chemistry, biology and tactics are my weapons of choice.
Matt's lips begin to curl into a half smile again.
"Waterproof shampoo... I think a nice botanical blend would compliment it nicely... I will write that down as Jack jr finishes his request."

Jackson's eyes switched from one person to another as the group 'calmed' Matt down.
"Very well, then you all agreed on the task ahead." Jackson closed his briefcase and returned around the table, sitting on the chair he'd previously occupied. " You will have to act as security at a Pengu-Penguin ice-soycream store up in Monroe. That's in Snohomish in case you're not familiar with that town....." He pulled out a small cigarillo from his front vest pocket and lighted it up. "...On the forth day, there will be the official opening, this is where you will act as visible security, the other 3 days, you will guard the store from the local toughs and any other inconvenience that may arrive, aiming at stopping the opening. As the store will be aimed at the family and kids markets, violence will not be tolerated around the store, we don't want to have lawsuits from angry parents about their children seeing people getting shot or beat up, of course if not near the store, that's another thing, but try to keep violence to a minimum. You will be staying at a local hotel, your contact on location, Mr. Lance, will make reservations when you arrived." He takes a puff of his cigarillo, slowly exhaling the smoke high up in the air.
"From what I can see, it should be easy, a real piece o' cake, of course Mr. Lance can fill you in on more local details when you'll meet." He gave the group sitting around the table a look "Do any of you have any questions?""

Jorinda tries not to roll her eyes at Matt's reply. He actually took the waterproof shampoo idea seriously. So she decides to be serious. "You market it, I want a cut." Maybe that would shut him up, but she doubted it.
Jorinda is attentive as Mr. Jackson gives them the run down of the job. They were guarding a soy cream shack? Why? He claimed it was a cake walk run. Sadly, there was no such thing. No violence, that wasn't a problem for her, but she wasn't so sure about the others.
As he asks for questions, Jorinda stands. "I got a couple." She says, ignoring the others. "First, I'm not real up on Snohomish, so what sort of things do we have to worry about there? Second, if we're staying there for four days, are we expected to keep an eye on the place 24/7?

Xenomarch is standing quietly behind and to the right of Gunther as Jackson says his piece. When the request for questions come forth: What opposition do you expect? Will we be internal, external or both security? How far from the site is our accomidations? What is LoneStars response time in that neighborhood? Will you be providing any equipment for our use? On the day of the opening will there be any additional security or just us? On that day do you want covert security or overt? Will there be rigger support provided by you or will we need to aqcuire it ourselves? What the hell will anyone do with waterproof shampoo?

Erick's demeanor changed the moment Mr. Jackson the final vote from the mad scientist. Now the group had been set and the detail were revealed, though a security detail at a ice-soycream shop was not what he had in mind. Maybe the gang bangers in the area would welcome the shop as a way of capturing their lost innocence?
The moment Mr. Jackson opened the floor for questions, several came from Jorinda and the man with the tail. Erick sat and listened intently to the barrage. He was fine with letting the others ask until their heart was content as there was no need in repeating similar questions.

Mr. Jackson took a puff out of his cigarillo while listening to Jorinda's questions. "First, I'm not real up on Snohomish, so what sort of things do we have to worry about there?" "Well Ms. Black, Snohomish is a dead-place for gangs, so except if you drive-in with your ganger friends, you won't cross any organized street punks. Snohomish have more bored teenagers and farmer's son out for some cheap trills than anything else..Even organized crime don't venture in Snohomish because there's nothing to..'exploit' for them."
"Second, if we're staying there for four days, are we expected to keep an eye on the place 24/7?"
"No, more like 24/4 Harharhar!" Jackson belly-laughed a good while, when realizing Jorinda was not finding this really funny he composed himself. "Ahem..Well, yes, the store must be under guard all the time, Mr. Lance have been staying at the store with a friend of his for almost a week now, so I would appreciate that you'll take on the guard duties, they do have an opening to work on. I must admit I'm not in full knowledge about how they keep guard, but Mr. Lance will fill you up on that on location."
He took another drag of of his cigarillo, tipping the ash in his bowl, listening with attention to Xenomarch's questions.
What opposition do you expect? Will we be internal, external or both security? How far from the site is our accommodations? What is LoneStar's response time in that neighborhood? Will you be providing any equipment for our use? On the day of the opening will there be any additional security or just us? On that day do you want covert security or overt?
"Opposition should be local toughs and bored teenagers, as for your 'positioning' you will be external security, as the store is not open yet. On the forth day during the opening, you will be both external and internal security, shouldn't be hard, since the visitors will be parents with their children. The hotel is near the store, but as to say how close I cannot say, Mr. Lance will fill you up on that. The store is in a B sector, while the farms around Monroe are in a C sector, so expect response to be around 20-30 minutes, but you never know when the squad car decided to make a stop to get a bite around the store. I will provide you with a mag lock card to enter the store, don't loose it, I would want it back after the job, and you are the only security on-site, even during the opening. Security must be open, visible to all, but again, one of you can be hidden too, but I want the customers to feel secure around the store." He grabbed his glass and drank a little of water, almost choking on Xenomarch's next question
"Will there be rigger support provided by you or will we need to acquire it ourselves?"
"Rigger Support? what the hell do you think that store is? A bunker? I don't want armed drones flying around ready to spray bullets all around, if you have the need for a SURVEILLANCE drone flying over head, get your own specialist."
"What the hell will anyone do with waterproof shampoo?" Jackson put his Black Hand on his nose, and took a deep breath of air, giving a quick look over at Matt who was smiling like a psycho "Listen, I don't give a damn about shampoo..personnaly that's the most stupidest thing I've ever heard, keep that 'side-project' for later will you? You were not hired to invent things but to protect a store and it's customers. So please I will ask of you to keep your mind on the task at hand will you?" His phrase seems more concentrated on Matt. Jackson then turned to face the group "Any other questions?"
